As most of you know, Valentine's day is coming up. For some it's a depressing holiday, because they have no love their lives. But for others it's a day to celebrate the love they've found. And what better way to convey such an emotion, than with music? So what I'm wondering is, what are the most romantic songs? You know, the ones that make even the most unemotional get a little teary-eyed..... Whether it's lost, unrequited, or imaginary, the theme here is love.
Here are my picks:
Waking Up Beside You - Stabbing Westward
We will Meet Again - VAST
November Rain - Guns n' Roses In Memory of the Busby Babes :

My favorite love songs
Nevermore - Forever
Iced Earth - I Died For You
Judas Priest - Before the Dawn (Girls, you may consider Judas Priest a hard and heavy band, but this song will make you weep, literally)
Siouxsie & the Banshees - Face to Face (fagget band, but I like this song. I was a batfan as a small kid and it was included in the OST of the batman film)
Type O Negative - Bloody Kisses (The Dark Lord of Goth delivered a masterpiece)
Cradle of Filth - A Gothic Romance (Whimscical love song with a gothic touch)
Marduk - Obedience (very touching)
Sorry I don't know any more love songs. I was never very fond of them. Ask me anything about songs that tell about brutality and darkness, about misanthropy and violence...but love...it is a foreign term.
Vlad the Impaler You are forever in my heart you never died...
You are forever I still wonder where you are...
I know you are dreaming...I know you are at peace
I'll meet you in the dreamtime...Whenever you're calling I'll go under...
I'll swim through you...
You are forever in my heart you never died...
I know you are dreaming...neon black

Waking Up Beside You - Stabbing Westward
Only In Dreams - Weezer
Everlong - Foo Fighters
Heart Shaped Box - Nirvana
Kissing You - Des'ree
To You I Bestow - Mundy
Generator - Foo Fighters
3 Libras - A Perfect Circle
You and Me On the Big Screen - Lanemeyer
Take Too Long - Surrogate McKenzie
Sigh....I wish I had a boyfriend I know the tears youre crying in your bed at night, I've cried those tears a thousand times, but those shallow empty songs about suicide are patronizing, you've got to learn to face your fears.

Messiah! "Fugees - No Woman No Cry" ??
Thats a fucking travesty man.
Bob Marley wrote that song, and performed it 50 times better then the Fugees could ever hope to attain. Do not dishonor his memory by saying the Fugees did it better.
Also fat props to Vlad for mentioning Iced Earth, couldnt agree more.
Here's mine:
Leonard Cohen - Dance Me to the End of Love
Leonard Cohen - Famous Blue raincoat
Mazzy Star - Hair and Skin
Bob Seger - We've got Tonight (not really love, but close enough)

I know, however I was never able to succesfully download the Marley version, and while scrolling through my napster list for romantic-type songs I put down the version I had without stopping to notice my mistake. Bob Marley's one of my favorite artists of all time so trust me, I had no intention of dishonoring him.
**brings the Frog many offerings to atone for mistake** When people talk of the freedom of writing, speaking or thinking I cannot choose but laugh. No such thing ever existed.
