Rage Against the Machine, Offspring, Simple Plan, Hawthorne Heights, Arctic Monkeys, Social Distortion, Iron Maiden, Good Charlotte, Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, Fall Out Boy, Evanescence, Buckcherry, Metallica, Trapt, Socialburn, Weird Al Yankovic, Three Days Grace, Avenged Sevenfold, Senses Fail, Alkaline Trio, My Chemical Romance, Atreyu, Greenday, etc.

I don't know what you mean by "rock". That ecompasses a shit ton of stuff. Then someone will inevitably get into a genre war saying that one or the other bands isn't really rock. Blah blah blah.

But I'll do my best.

I tend to favor alt-rock indie bands from Britain.

The Stone Roses, Omerta, Testosterone, etc. Shit like that. Some great shit comes out of Greater Manchester. Testosterone's in Wigan, I believe.

For the longest time I was calling them emus but then I figured out it was IMO but I still call them emus for my own slightly short-lived amusement. Like literally all the servers at this restaurant I work at are all like that and they'll be talking loud about some Evanescence crap or something and I'll be like calm down emus! I can fucking hear you and shit! Shut up!

KoRn, disturbed, five finger death punch, chous punks, hawthorn hights, my chemical romance, nine inch nails, cradle of filth, perl jam, mindless self indulgence, enya "haha jk", rise agenst, death by candycanes, tinashous d,rob zombie white zombie, scum of the earth.. just a few there are thousands out there

Korn is basscore turned numetal.
Nine Inch Nails has always been industrial metal.
Cradle of Filth is black metal (ehm, wannabe black metal)
Pearl Jam just plain fuckin' sucks, but they're grunge.
M.S.I. is...um...weird.
Rob Zombie sucks.
White Zombie is better!

I think genres are gay and stupid. No one can ever agree on what is what and what to call what and who is what.

Yeah, it is. Especially with metal these days. It's just so . . . hard to find what your looking for. Black metal, melodic black metal, death metal, brutal death, pagan, neo-pagan, celtic, viking, fantasy, folk, thrash . . . and lets not forget all the "'cores." It gets so fuckin' annoying, but . . . what sounds cooler? "I like metal." or "I like neo-pagan-etheral-prog-goth-folk metal!"

Backstreet Boys
N'SYNC
New Kids on the Block (the originators of BM)
O-Town (more of a death-grind-post-numetal-grungecore band though)

I agree.. there are some ridiculous genres. "Deathdiscocore" and "christian gangsta rap" are among my favourites. Still, I think it's important to have some distinctions between... for example there's a world of difference between Black and let's say.. Viking metal. I suppose it's all about keeping it in moderation..

I listen to floyd, sabbath, ac-dc, maiden ,rush, marylin manson, children of bodom, lamb of god, disturbed, metallica, slayer, caliban, system of a down, slipknot, rammstein, and the list goes on.

My first concert was sabbath way back in 1972. I suppose it was enevitable that i would progress. Im just a metal head at heart.

I listen to Metallica, Slayer, Six Feet Under, KMFDM, NiN, Sabbath, Lamb of God, System of a Down, Type O Negative, Hatebreed, etc., etc.

I listen to music that I like. I don't limit myself to any one genre.
