Does anyone here like Rasputina? I'm a huge fan myself. I've been to three shows in the past year or so, and I can't get enough of them!
Let it be known that Rasputina, our favorite pseudo-classical positive-goth cello rock band will be releasing a new album, "Frustration Plantation" on March 16th, 2004!!
I've heard a lot of the new music and it sounds fantastic!! It's pretty hardcore distorted cello, with a drummer.
They've released several CDs, such as "Thanks For the Ether," "How We Quit The Forest," and "Cabin Fever." They also released a fantastic cover CD including songs like Zepplin's "Rock and Roll," and CCR "Bad Moon Rising" *(although Rasputina's version is a looot different!)

i've heard an album by them......a friend of mine went to a concert and they opened up.....i dunno, the music was a bit too eclectic for me, but i didn't give it a thorough listen......but hey, chicks who play cello's and have a fan-base, rock on!

Yeah, they actually have a pretty obsessive fan-base.
oh and to the person who called me a spammer, here I am with replies. I was hoping to find some fans here because I'm really excited about the new album!!
