courtney love just announced on the howard stern show today that she has come to an agreement with dave grohl and a new album consisting of unreleased material will be released for christmas. up until recently the two have been in a bitter court battle to decide whether or not the nirvana tome would be released to the public. she said that a press release would be announced soon which will give more details on the album and possibly it's contents.

No.. never did. I admit to being a flannel girl back in the days of grunge. But I listened to stuff like Soundgarden and Mudhoney... Pearl Jam.

Couldn't get into Nirvana.

I've heard one of the songs what might or might not be on the album... "You Know You're Right" .. I like it and I've never been a big Nirvana fan.

I think that's the previously unreleased song floating around the net right now...still haven't heard it.

But, I was like 13-14 when Nirvana was getting popular, so I was all over them.....yep, a definite grunge-monkey.

I don't care. I loved them. Fuck people.

nirvana is the best band ever to be known in this fucked up world....Kurt brought us something new to this world and i think its for the best that the new album comes out to destroy this fuckin pop shit and rap cause rap sucks and pop well the word speaks for its self.....

I quite liked Nirvana, probably won't buy it though, usually the stuff released posthumously should have stayed unreleased.

The word "pop" refers to popular music. In their time, Nirvana was the essence of pop. Grunge = pop for a short span of time.
