Since April 2003, I've been a member of a music project called Sad But True. There are four of us, two in Seattle and two in Ontario, Canada. We record our music parts individually, then e-mail to our vocalist/rhythm guitarist/producer/mixer in Ontario, who mixes all the individual tracks together and posts the resulting product online for the world to stream/download for free.

We play heavy metal, really. We started off doing just Metallica covers, although we've also done Pantera and Slipknot and want to start on other metal bands of that ilk.

We started work on Metallica's "Creeping Death" around June of 2006, but because of some delay or the other, completed it just a few days ago. We're pretty meticulous as our covers go, but this is the longest we've ever spent on one single song.

So here it is. The final mastering of this was done by a guy on the official Metallica forums, even though for all our other covers, we generally do the mastering ourselves.
