i thought that "daddy" korn song was a little disturbing. not only for the whole grown man sobbing thing but also the fact that the song spawned whiney balads from other bands about how they were beat and abused.

The most disturbing "music" I have come across on my long journeys through Heavy Metal music is probably Agorophobic Nosebleed's "Frozen corpse stuffed with dope" full length, released last year..... I have the album and although it dsen't really shock me what they say it is suprising that it actually got released, and its the only album i own with lyrics such as "You're real gay about pussy, you bitch has got you looking in a magazine for clothes. Homo. All I'm buying a bitch is a bag of shit to choke on."

The album is full of references to child abuse, homophobia, domestic violence and rape..... the lyrics are really lame in my opinion, the opinions arent even said in an intelligent way....and I have no fucking idea why I bought the album.....but hey....we all must have some crap on our music shelves.

Anyway... pop songs aren't disturbing to me. Disturbing, to me, involves a gut reaction to want to get away. Or something that makes me insanely uncomfortable. I'm Catholic, believe in God, and all that.. but Christian Contemporary music makes me feel very off. I can't even sit through one of the infomercials without feeling like I have to run.
