i should probably start with what a mashup is. it's basically the vocals from one song mixed with the music from another. usually with rap vocals and rock background music. there are several websites dedicated to it and i'm hearing more of it when i go to the clubs.

there is one dj that made several records that he calls 'satanic mashups' which has 50 cent's in da club over nin's closer as well as dr. dre's next episode over ac/dc's back in black . they're really tight. there are some others as well. so, has anyone heard any good mashups?

yeah, it's definitely a hot or cold genre. when someone nails a good mix though they're fucking great. did you check out any of the links i posted?
