something a bit different now, possibly not something anyone else listens to, but i think, a most incredibly amazing group, producing some of the most ingenious, creative, and "out there" music that i've ever heard.

great for fans of aphex twin or suchlike, who want something you can listen to without seeming like a seriously crazy motherfucker. you can drive, walk, and move around to the music, not just sit and experience it. which is something you also should do, but i can't say i can sit on a bus or train, or walk around the streets, or drive in my car whilst listening to aphex twin tracks.

they're a brilliant psytrance group, whos compositions don't stick to one tangent. somehow they seem to bring new, different tunes from the same line, without going off into what i find to be just random obscure paths with no direction like you get with some psy music.

not just using samples, they also have people playing live, such as electric guitars, vocals, even some orchestral work. really as i say, a brilliant mix. theres things in their tracks for anyone to pick up on.

everything is different whilst not being completely random, while still remaining recognisable, but not the same old remixed and resampled dirge.

i do find, their tracks do what i don't expect them to. they're great for creeping up on you and smacking you over the head when you expected something completely different.

i finally picked up "I'M the supervisor" today, one of their albums, and disputed to be one of their best. i really do recommend them.

here's another that i consider one of their best - Bombat.
its a clip of the song with some wierd video some kid made, but its the best on youtube i can find (out of 2) with bombat. i'd say this was one of my favourite tracks of theirs without a doubt.

Seen them a number of times live at various parties. I have some video footage live at earthcore too.
They lost me on Supervisor though. It wasn't very good.
Check out hallucinogen, 1200mics, shpongle and Talamasca.
I find them to be much better.

i like shpongle, but what ive heard is much much more psychadelic. i do like them indeed but i havent invested in their cds yet.

they were supposed to be playing in london along with a whole host of incredible bands/groups like them, including pitchshifter and i think pendulum were rumoured to attend, but the whole event fell through. i was lined up ready to get tickets for it as soon as they were announced but the whole thing died.

i was real sad about that.

Infected Mushroom is one of the best live PA groups I've seen. Infact I think only Jackyll and Hyde have put on a better live PA (not that I'm comparing their music mind you, they're not much alike)

Woah. well, i bought "vicious delicious" newest album, and i'm blown away. i've listened to the first few tracks nice and loud whilst driving home tonight and i've fallen completely in love with it.

the artwork is brilliant, as is all I.M. that i've seen, i was hoping to pick up "classical mushroom" but the store i went into today only had 1 copy of Vicious and 1 copy of supervisor, which as i've said i've already bought.

SHOK - i dunno if you gave up on I.M. after supervisor, but if you havent checked out Vicious, then do. I had to take a detour and take the long way home to listen to the rest of "Heavyweight" and woah. i'm seriously LOVING this cd.

i was incredibly impressed by Supervisor, though i must admit the actual track "i'm the supervisor" im not completely impressed by, but it sounds good on my friend's 4KW Pro. PA soundsystem.

but this CD, i'm blown away by. it's been a while since i've been like... "WOAH" but tonight in my car, from what i've heard so far... i am blown apart. and knowing what I.M. albums are like, it's going to get better and better as i listen to the rest.

so tomorrow, i'll post a "BUY IT NOW" or "BUY IT TOMORROW" verdict.

I can't afford CDs at the moment. Bills are killing me. Bloody ducks.

Will give it a 2nd chance though. They have yoyo'd on their releases.
I can't find the videos either, trying to find where I put them.
