| Guilty pleasures. -

My taste in music is mainly industrial, darkwave, post punk, and some gloom and doom goth stuff.
But every now and then, I'll listen to things that I don't want anyone to know I listen to.
Here is where I admit to these "guilty pleasures" and I encourage other people to list them as well. (Music only, please. There are some things about you people that I could live a fuller life not knowing).
Sometimes, I like Bright Eyes.
I also own a Third Eye Blind CD that isn't so bad.
And The Beastie Boys are good now and then.
And... I even like a couple Enya songs. (but that is a BIG secret, so shhh!)

I don't really have any "guilty pleasures" because I'm not embarassed about anything I listen to... but... I suppose I have some tastes that people might find odd...
First off... I love anything from Rock to hip-hop to hardcore to electronica to metal to industrial to indie-rock... some odd music includes:
80's pop (a beautiful addiction)
country (a select few songs... thanks mom!)
william hung (terrible singing = good fun)
Theme songs from 80's shows/cartoons

I'd agree with the person above me.. I'm not ashamed of anything I listen to. I listen to Metal, mostly Black.. but I also enjoy Hardcore, Punk, J-rock, J-pop, Ambient, Electronica, Rock, Post-rock.. the list goes on..
I suppose one of my "guilty pleasures" might be I genuinely enjoy the music of Paul Lekakis. | |

Well I understand something totally different under " guilty pleasure " then music . . .
but that's my twisted mind  !
The music I like just have to have a descent beat . . . that's all , may it be Classic Rock , 60/70/80/90 Pop or Classical !

None, mainly because I listen to almost everything. I was listening to death metal (Krisiun) on the way to work, but now I'm listening to dance-rock (LCD Soundsystem). Perhaps my fellow Krisiun fans would rip on me for liking LCD Soundsystem, but my fellow LCD Soundsystem fans would surely rip on me for liking Krisiun, so... meh. | |

i don't really like to admit liking meatloaf. (mostly the steinman tracks but some of the other stuff i like too.) but i don't hide it away.
i don't really have any real extreme guilty pleasures, because if i think something is good i'll tell people, if they don't like it, i understand.
i like an extreme range of music. i drove home from work listening to the cure, and now i'm listening to Shpongle. (seriously psychadelic psytrance) and i've just got back from seeing Avenue Q the musical on stage which i enjoyed extremely.
but yeah, i don't readily admit to liking meatloaf. but its not that much of a guilty pleasure. | |
