I found this interesting, but im not much of a mathematician, can anyone verify this? I know that Tool is notorious for placing subliminal messages or undertones.

i wouldn't say tool is "notorious" for subliminal anything, but maynard definitely explores some odd hippy-ish themes in his writing. for instance "46&2" is an awesome song musically, if you get into the lyrics he's talking about how humans consist of 46 chromosomes. if we were able to evolve into a 48 chromosome being we would be god-like. hence "46 & 2 is just ahead of me..."

maynard is kind of a weird dude. he served 3 years in the army, but he's very anti-establishment and he's one of the only rockstars i know of that has his own winery.

And a blue belt in BJJ.

I have a similar song consisting of only prime numbers in the time signatures and note counts.
