Has anyone heard or seen this wonderful, wonderful Acapella (sp?) group? I saw them in concert at my (former) high school two weeks ago and have considered adding them to my top 5 Unknowns list (even though that would require shoving Fountains of Wayne off). I even like them despite the fact that at that concert they sang did parodies/renditions of two songs with "Rolling Stone" in the title and still failed to do a single Rolling Stones song.
When people talk of the freedom of writing, speaking or thinking I cannot choose but laugh. No such thing ever existed. No such thing now exists; but I hope it will exist. But it must be hundreds of years after you and I shall write and speak no more.

No, I haven't. I have an unbelievably hardcore dislike of acapella. Not because it sucks, but because I don't like the sound in any way (I have reasons for it, but I don't wanna argue). Them acapella peoples are very talented peoples, though.
Acapella done properly is wonderful, to me it shows a pure harmony when several people can work together so well.... DM, do you know if this group has any MP3s around? If so, I'll give em a listen (always open to new bands). If not, I'll have to keep an eye out for an upcoming album if they do record.
All I want is to make a killing
To drill and kill that might be really thrilling
Why are my victims so unwilling
You can be sure that you won't see me
Careful with that axe you mean it
They have two records out, I believe, and if you have Napster you can find some songs under the titles "Magic Kingdom", "Ally McBeal", "Title of the Song", and "Secret Asian Man"

Thanks for the link. Although I'll pass on Napster. My connection speed is so slow it would take weeks to download it seems, only to have the bloody file transfer crap out on me (I got sick of getting half a song)
edit: DM, they're from Arlington?!?!? Man, I need to get out more.

Aww. I live in Fairfax (though actually Annandale) myself. Glad to be of assistance.

Thanks. It's good to know I'm not the only one living in Hell, home of the highest taxes. Glad to be moving to Baltimore in a few months. I miss Waxi Maxi's ..... it closed back in July.
