erm....i dont write poetry, until now i guess. i do not know if i am bad so dont laugh if i am! tell me what ya think....


first time its small
second's in the middle
just cuts on my wrist
its okay, they were little

its only a little blood
no big deal
its my body anyway
this is what i feel

some say its a problem
but i dont see why
doesnt matter to them
no reason to cry

its only a safety pin
its only a knife
its only a little blood
its only my life


yeah...i suck! sadness

no it's really good, do you cut?

one more bite
one more pound
cant chew
cant stand the sound
they say its okay
cuz im not tall
dont worry about it
just workout, thats all
but they dont know
that i've tried that already
didnt work then
im still too heavy
it doesnt mean theres a problem
just because i dont eat
its alright, i feel fine
its not a disease
i guess i was wrong
but now its too late
whats happened is over
death was my fate

mm it's bad....and repulsive as I've been told, and it screws up relationships and drives people you love away, the ones you need, they leaave and abandon you it's sad, so do not do it and plus the scars are ugly, trust me and it's embarrasing when you're in public and people ask about them in front of people....akward situation

i have a star on my leg from a while back, but it has been a long time since i have done anything. and i dont plan on cutting anytime soon

yes what ashy says is true, all cutting does is mess things up....if you have the desire to cut some flesh thats fine, just as long as its not your own!

I liked your poems...they do flow very nicely. I've been cutting myself for about 4 years now...but finely I've found the right doctor. I used to do it on my wrists and then it moved to my upper arm so my parents wouldn't see but I haven't cut myself in almost a month! That's alot, trust me. Keep writing your poems...they'll help you vent what anger or sadness or whatever it is making you cut. Cya later

I agree I was writing to vent then after a while, it didn't work heh but jess does write well, Ive cut everything, legs arms wrists....I don't anymore so but I'm glad you're getting help

I don't think so. It may be only 2 examples, but you have promise. What matters most is you express what YOU feel, and if someone else feels it. You have hit on a few memories of my own, dredged up a painful time...
