I was watching a program on TV about spontaneous human combustion. The only thing is that spontaneous human combustion is so rare that it happens in the chances of like one in a million. The thorough investigation of the case proved that it was in fact not human combustion but instead microscopic spider-like machines that were in the particular person's blood. (they were placed there or some shit) Anyway, they were a-sexual. They could build themselves in a matter of seconds. This generating heat, and spreading the atoms out. (if you know that theory) Or they thought that the machines were controlled by remote.
Well, blla blaa bla, and shit I don't have time to tell but lets get this down.
The human exploded not even leaving ashes, only like one body part was left.

Our technology is advancing everyday, I do believe this is possible. I will go in deepth when I have time..till then feel free to respond or add information to this.

There are already tiny electrical impulses in our bodies, if there was a way to increase them to a much higher level in an instant that might do the job.
Methane could be built up and stored inside the body until it reaches the desired amount and then a smal spark could be created by something inside possably artifical(whatever it is I dont know).

paranoia? too many drugs or tv, but human combustion, I've seen several shows concerning that phenomenah, and it's really quite interesting, but I don't think it has anything to do with nano technology...how would they get into the system...it seems that they have found there was alchol in the system and those poor unfortunates who burn nothing but themselves seem to have been smokers, but those are really the only correlation between such...anomonolies(sp?) Maybe that person was fated to die on that day and the fates had no way of killing them, so they just fried them?

The first computer was the size of a small building.... what is your point... a computer chip is much smaller now.... yes that is true... yet it is squat without its peripherals.... the motherboard has pretty much stayed the same size for many years now.... as have the FRM's.... now in order to have a small machine capable of doing the things you say.... well you would have to pack a small computer in it with preset instructions for it to carry out.... and we are a long ways away from making anything which could travel our bloodstream without mucking things up.....

Hm...nanotechnology. I've heard about these before mainly in reference to the good they can potentially do for medical treatments.

Wouldn't these little things be really expensive to make/deploy? As far as I know no one rich/famous/important has ever gone "woosh" so that just seems like a waste.

Bah.... the human body is quite capable of doing strange things all on its own...... there is a mechanism within the body which controls the bodies temperature... if ... say... for instance... that mechanism were to go all out of whack... perhaps the body could build up to a combustable point... that is a far more realistic view of the matter....

I have my own theory related to the Schrodingers (sp?) cat theory. It basically states that:

If you had a lead box, a cat, and a poison gas pellet.... put the cat and pellet in the box, sealed it and walked away... would the cat be dead? Most would say yes... but how are we to know unless we place the human constraint of measurement on the cat to see if indeed the feline has met his end. You know, check his pulse so to speak. We cannot do this by meerly looking at a sealed box. So, what if we open the box and the cat is gone? We cannot prove the cat to even be IN the box unless we look.... can we?

My own personal what if on this has to include another theory. Not sure I remember the exact name of it so I will omit untill I find out... hate to be called a dumbass in addition to crazy ...hehe. Anyway.... It is a fact, proven by the scientific community that the cat is made up of cells... cells are made of molecules... molecules of atoms... atoms of subatomic particals. Break this down to its proven elementals and you have a fucking small ass thing not imaginable by most mortal men. These things are unstable... they are solid matter at some moments and energy waves the next. We cannot tell which unless the constraint of measurement is applied... so ... and here it comes... what if enough subatomic particals in enough molecules in enough cells in this cat sincronized at the same instant? What if that is what happens to some people.... or parts of them? Could the sudden release of that much energy be the cause of spontaneous human combustion?..... Think about it! Or don't... just my imbalanced mind in overdrive... smoochies.

In relation to this, there is a theory, according to tv it was also in a book. Its some mans theory, I think his name began if a m, or the theorys name began with a m, anyway, whatever.
Whoevers theory was that if the molecules of a particular person where to collide a hell of a lot more then usual, of course this would have to happen when the person was active, or so one would believe.
