Sometime during this year an event will occur.
This event might be the capture of Osama, or another terrorist attack.
In the end allow me to explain why this will happen.

Bush is not in total favor with the public.
He is falling slowly down the ladder of liked by the public.

If an event such as Osama's capture occurs it'd bolster how much people like him. This, in turn, would help him win the election of Presidency.

Or, an event might occur wherein Bush gets this brilliant idea. Let's make it so if an event such as a massive terrorist attack occurs presidency will not change so long as said terrorist event has occured during the year of an election. This way a new president won't be brought in and the old one who's already settled in and understand what's going on will remain present. Technically slightly sound..it's kind of a "Let's keep the guy who knows what he's doing instead of getting a guy who knows jack crap."

And then a terrorist event occurs.

Finding some weapons of mass destruction would sure help.

The problem with this sort of thinking is that if anything good happens for Bush, you'll just turn around and say 'aha, I told you so! It's a conspiracy, just as I predicted!' Good things happen to those you don't like, I'm afraid, and that's that. Get over it.
