Someone from this site tried to put a virus on my computer, but screwed up and it didn't do anything, I laugh in their general direction. I know who it is, but I'm not going to say.

Oh, it's not that important. The person was stupid enough that they made it easy to tell that there was a virus, and it wasn't anything big either, it didn't mess with my computer at all. Besides, that was almost 2 years ago. No biggie. I don't hold any grudge against the person.

We've had several attacks lately too. I'm not sure if Protocol has tracked them.

I operate a proxy server which serves as the gateway for my home network so we have a physical barrier between the net and our computers.

Since coming to Darkforum the firewall has been getting daily Subseven trojan attacks which are easily ignored but do raise some suspicions as to what is going on. Funny because it's always the same IP addresses, despite my own IP address being DHCP...

So this thread proves to be very interesting indeed.

Yes.. but no member... unless it has it archived for a guest.. I dunno how our IP logs work

No shit really? I made this thread as a joke cause my comp gets way to many pop ups and it pissed me off. But from what you make it seem like, shits going on here. Is it or could it be tied to the site? Or the members anyway?

It really would be rather fucked up if DF or one of its members was behind this...

who knows..... I get at least several attacks a day..... when I was using ATT for broadband they used to attack me..... I called them up once to complain and they denied everything....

I always check to see if any of the IPs match a Member and they never do....

also... I switched to using Netscape and I never get popups now... but if I click on Microsoft Windows Explorer I get a string of popups that freeze my puter......
