I was thinking of putting this on the philosophy forum, but I think it better qualifies to this forum.

Look around. On the fringes of civilization there is a creeping chaos in dissident or vagabond groups. They seems unrelated and members of such groups would exclaim that they are independant of all other such group because of situation and dogma. But on a broader scale these groups are growing. Who are they? The impoverished, the homeless, the ghettos, the barios, trailor parks. Extremist groups, the neo-Nazis, the KKK, Hamas, countless anarchist and terrorist cells. The ignorant, the weak, those whose basic human power has been stollen from them by the Globalizing Nations and their Industrial-Military machine. While sickness and apocalyptic visages grow in those unwilling or unable to be welcomed in the "mainstream," greed, gluttony, and envy mass in the self-proclaimed "correct society." Neurotic pollutants of the Human Mind grow by consuming en-mass and unknowingly and uncaringly blasting away the pristine virginity of the surface of our Earth.

Why? We can look at prophecy. We can look at others' faults. We cna find a million nearly-good reasons for the clogging arteries of our world. A man will blame anything and everything before he blames himself. We must blame ourselves. We are surrendering to a nearly-invisible self-destructive unconscious plot by Humanity as a whole to end itselt.


How will we stop it?

Good question . . .

Keep in mind that although we are not all equal it does not give us the right to not treat those unequal to us as human beings.

You're justifying exclusivism?

There is a misconception that we are all created equal. This may be true at least in the first few hours or days of birth, in the modern world however we are only equal in the fact that we are born, we are human, and we all die. Things like social standing, education, and different values quickly combine to make us unequal.
Even though we may perceive ourselves as being somehow above others (and even if rightly so), this is no excuse to trample the rights of others.

Denalay is right, no person can claim to be more human than another. Though there may be differences in values and beliefs, we are all fundmentally the same. All members of the human race.

Really, the only way to curb this is by diminishing the evergrowing population of the world..

Set a standard worldwide that married couples(whatever the arrangement) are only allowed ONE, just ONE, child per..... Then both should get there respective tubes tied.. and if your unable to create/bare children, adopt one...

thus the population of the world will eventually drop to a stable point..

Two children would suffice for the Western world...its in the third world where overpopulation is really a problem.

Drk Tiggs , if you think about it if every couple of people produce only one offspring and were only allowed to produce the one that would mean that the population would decrease and decrease if the rule kept on going . Look at what is happening in Japan or China ( 1 of the 2 ) They are actually killing off newly born babies in the name of population. I understand that it is totally a strain on resources but it shouldnt come to killing innocent children .
As for everyone being the same, that is a load of bull , people are awkward things and tend to look down on people for the smallest reasons. For example the middle class woman has more respect and other things like that than a worse off woman . Fickle things we are

I never said to kill babies... Just fix the parents... And when the population drops to a stable point, then up it to two instead of one..

OH and one addendum to the original... NO MORE fertility drugs...
they cause trips, quads, sixtups, ect... So ban em.. let folks adopt if they can't have there own.. I have nothing against adoption..
as well as if you end up with twins or better naturally, keep em.. and congrats!!

At the risk of being "rubbed-out" by "big brother" ... let ol' RB put her two cents worth in here. In order to change the course of destruction that Guy Person is describing - you would need to start with the Government - not just ours ... but every country that has one. This my children is an impossibility. There is so much corruptness ... I'm not sure anyone knows "which side" anyone is on anymore *looks around with a glint of paranoia in the "baby-browns*
Tis a sad state of affairs when the good ol' boys group can dictate what goes on without anyone knowing that it's being done. Look at the "Witch Trials" ... the "Concentration Camps" ... etc., if it is drilled into one's head for a period of time that something is "wrong", "wicked", whatever ... sooner or later that majority of the people "follow" ... and the self-destruction of society has begun ...
