well its always been said that aids was made in africa, from africans having sex with monkeys, however they have found out that aids or HIV cannot live in monkeys dna. It was an "ethic war" trying to kill off black people around the 70's they never though the whole freedom thing was gonna in america and black guys having sex with white girls, ti'll it started spreading among western society...long story short if you wanna know more just ask.

First of all, aids and HIV are NOT the same thing, guy_on_speed. You see, HIV is the VIRUS, and AIDS is the illness HIV produces after some time in an organism infected by it. So , vhat we're really talking about is HIV(the virus). If it is man-made, then the one who made it is not a very smart man, and I don't believe there are so many stupid scientists... If it is man-maid, the one that unleashed it into the world is an idiot...

You are not correct.... it is HIV in Man and SIV in Simians....

The two viruses are genetically very similar and are transmitted the same way. However HIV only causes AIDS in humans, and SIV only causes AIDS in monkeys. The SIV virus, like HIV, is found in blood. From what we can tell, HIV entered man via monkey blood. This could have been possible by either drinking the blood of monkeys, eating raw monkeys or perhaps another direct exposure of monkey blood into humans.

And there is also a feline version of HIV as well..
so if you think that your pets are safe.. think again..
(And NO it's not transferable to humans yet)

Well... perhaps you need to look at how we funny little humans do our research.... usually we use animals to test medicines before we apply them to humans.... if cats and monkeys can have it we can test on them and than see if it works on humans....

It can work for cats and monkeys and NOT work with humans. Developing the cure will be very hard... It may anot even be a cure...

I know we have biological chemical weapons, that it all has to do with genetics........ but when HIV and AIDs was first broadcasted to the world, we weren't that far advanced in biological technology. I also heard that it evolved from simians and such in Africa.
