Destroying an entire race or group of people. Not as in "Kill those two-hundred people there", as in "Kill those two hundred Buddhists" or "Kill those two hundred hispanics". It can be as large as the holocaust or as small as killing off a small tribe of Native Americans.

In the simplest terms...let's just dissect the word. "Cide". Killing of. "Geno" as in Genus...a classification. If you kill all albinoes, all blind people, all members of a certain society, it's genocide. You're doing more than killing people, you're killing of a culture, an aspect of history and society. I should clarify- just killing two hundred Jews because they're Jews isn't Genocide, it's persecution. Genocide is more than a short-term thing- it's a long-term commitment or action to wipe out a people. It's actually not happened in full very often- certain tribes of Nativer Americans and perhaps some older tribes and peoples of Europe and Asia. It happens in part with unfortunate frequency- although others of the 20th century abound, the Holocaust or Porrajmos of the Nazis is the most famous example, targetting Jews, Gypsies, Blacks, Jehovah's Witnesses and Homosexuals. This is an example of genocide not because the Nazis simply eliminated members of these groups, but because they did so with an intent to continue in these actions until all members of these groups were dead (although during the early days of the Final Solution, certain groups of Gypsies were intended to be spared, since the entire ethnicity is, in all technicality, "Aryan").

I am going with murder. Even though the other options are all bad and I hope that no one has to experence it. But Rape is very bad and it happenes all the time and it can lead ot one killing themself. Heck I tried to kill myself for being raped I felt dirty and evil. But when you murder someone that person does not even get a chance to live any more. And their friends and family will never get to see that person again or hold that person so in my opionon Murder is worse.

Rape can be living death.

At least in actual bodily death (i.e. murder) the horror of it is experienced only once, and it is gone. With rape the body may live, but it is the depths of the soul that become mutilated and destroyed.

In sexual violation it can be a living death that enchains the victim for the rest of their life; and it is a something that must be lived through, and died all over, again, and again.

But I think my vote goes for a kind of treachery. Willful betrayal of those that trust you, to death or destruction, of body or soul.
Murder in of itself, and rape in of itself, are horrible sins.. But this kind of treachery brings not only destruction or violation of innocent life, but it is by trickery, and deceit as well, violation of the sacredness of trust.
There is a violation of some core part of the relationship between human and human that is in of itself nearly an ultimate sin. Implied in treachery is the knowledge held by the Treacherous, they had the truth, they knew better.. they knew full well the extent of their lies, and the results that might come from their act of betrayal.
It is a depth of evil that consumes the human soul to its core.

I agree with that assessment. I think it's really just a difference between two types of people on which is worse, rape or murder.

Stupidity is the worst sin. in my opinion. ignorence and being dumb arn't a person's fault, but there is no excuse for stupidity.

dumb- don't have the ability to learn what is being taught.

ignotent- have the ability to learn but was never taught so they can't know.

stupid- have the ability to learn and refused to learn it when it was taught.
