When something terrible happens Where is your safe haven(i'm not meaning actually going somewhere I mean The place that you think of)


Like I picture me walking through The maze of A mind that I actually have, I walk through this maze all time, My life basically sucks a big one, Everyone bitches to me about me how I shopuld be so much better than them, it's hard to handle it, so I go where I can Do what I want say what I want, I just wish I could stay there.

When something terrible happens to me, I usually get numb.......in order to deal with the pain, in order to continue functioning. It's just a cool, tunnel-like space: big enough to walk through, but too small to see anything else. Tunnel vision-I become very narrow minded-and solely focused on survival.

everything just goes black for me

kinda like if you rub your eyes too hard and all you can see is black with occasional spots of light...

i dont hear anything either...

i dont realize i am in the state until someone tells me after i "wake up"

Hmmm. I see where you are coming from ON where you don't realize your there until your gone, it's kinda like not realizing what you have till you have lost it.

Yes I feel numb too When I realize I have been o my place again And I wake up From it My legs and arms are all tingly, Kinda like when they fall asleep from sitting on them, Yes I nkow that feeling.

interesting question... i don't think i have one such place. i guess i retire to my thoughts and dreams... i keep imagining some places, situations, what could be if something would happen, etc... these are different every time... i sometimes think that i actually have too many thoughts and dreams and spend too much time on them... they get mixed and become too much chaotic...

and sometimes, like SSJAoshi, i just get on my computer...

I also think About what could have happened and also what has happened but I am always in the same place ....in my little maze, in my head.....

well...im not easily annoyed....but...sometimes im not at my extatic standard so...thats when i get on my computer...

what a coicidence, last night was one of the worst nights for me in a long time, let me just say that i am the typical depressed young person is far too emotional and obsessed with the idea of love

anyway, when moments become too bad for me i always space out and become despondent, last nights however was one of the rare times i was not drunk, so i talked over my problems with my parents and am now happier, somewhat....

usually when i am far too depressed, alcohol helps me, which is really bad since i have a habit of hurting myself sometimes, i have a lot of cigarette scars on my arms, but lately i have found i way for me to ease my pain creatively, which seems to help emmensely.......

i just lost a lot of hope in, and for, people........sometimes it helps me to look down upon others.....

when something like that happens...especially if its something i don't know how to deal with, i either go for a walk or go to my room and do something...but nothing really horribly bad has happened to me in a while...so *shrugs* i'unno... i guess if i write it down, and get it out of my system i feel better too..damnit...now i'm confused!!!

I usually face my demons head on. Maybe that has something to do with my age but I've always been like that more or less.

Sometimes it does get too much and I guess i drink - but I've only ever done that once.

When things are bad I evaluate the situation, take time out and think about what should be done. I am not rash (I used to be), instead I will calm myself down until I have clarity of thought.

Medetation is good for times such as these and I would recommend this to everyone.

Empty your mind and let your thoughts go. Try not to think - you must clear your mind and allow 'external' thoughts in. If you get it right you'll find yourself thinking without thinking (ie the thoughts will just enter your head). It's hard to explain (and I still find it hard to get to this state sometimes) but it's amazing what you actually get out of it.

I like meditation...But I am To Ready to kill..............I think I should work on that

i think one of the key things to try and realize is that no matter how bad something is, or how good something is, it is at least something....
