Yes i know this topic has been discussed over and over again, but i wanna look at it from a philosophical view. what is becoming of our world today?? do we think that by bombing and dertroying another country, we're the good guys?? does that justify us trying to start a war and make things worse than they already are?? America is not the good guy just because it's starting a war to wipe out terrorism and arrest Osama bin Laden. nobody's doing the right thing either way, so why is America getting praised for it???? If I go crazy then will you still

Do they really want Osama Bin Laden? no
If they did then when the Taliban said "we'll hand him over now" then the US would have said "OK Thank you" but instead they said "too Late"
The Bombing of Afghanastan is simply an exercise to outdo Bin Laden, basically the US has to appease the revenge hungry populace and simply arresting Bin Laden and bringing him to trial won't acheive that, they have to do something that looks good on television.

It isnt that easy to just walk into the country and arrest him. They wont hand him over. I dont think we`re the good guys but then again we`re not the ones targetting civilians. Work is of two kinds: first, altering the position of matter at or near the earth's surface relatively to other such matter; second, telling other people to do so.

The Taliban came out and said that since there was no evidence (besides circumstantial) against Bin Laden that they wouldn't hand him over to the US but they did offer to hand him over to a third party (probably just to get him as far away from Afghanastan as possible to avoid what is happening now) but the US refused.

i think i'm just waiting to see how long it will take for us to kill everyone. we're leading a fast path to destruction, and i guess we've had it coming.
until the day we can see ourselves as human, equal and tolerant of of others' ideas, beliefs and thoughs, things will stay the same.
i'd liketo write more but my computer has crapped up and i cant even see what i'm typing. have you seen my marbles?

what do you care... ur a masochist... this must be heaven for you...
and on the philosophy aspects of the war... well, i hate to say it, but that is something that everyone is going to have to decide for themselves... i, personally, have very serious doubts about this conflict and the lengths that are going to be taken to "secure the homeland" (since when has america been termed the homeland?) and "root out those who are evil in the world"... this conflict has very good odds of spilling over into other countries... Bush has said as much...

Looks like you dont know shit about S&M Rogue. It has to have consent and no one in the scene would want death on any scale. Work is of two kinds: first, altering the position of matter at or near the earth's surface relatively to other such matter; second, telling other people to do so.

I started saying it on Sepember eleventh, that all of this will eventually work to make the world a much more spiritual (not necessarily religious) place. To view links or images in signatures your post count must be 10 or greater. You currently have 0 posts.

there is an acute difference between love of pain and warfare. especially with the technology we have developed since the other 2 world wars, we wouldn't survive a week if the whole world became involved in war. note: because pain is fun doesn't mean i want to die. masochism doesn't equal suicide.
just an idea though, what would allow for countries to be neutral, and are we all going to try and get into those countries? ...all of this will eventually work to make the world a much more spiritual (not necessarily religious) place.
you think so? elaborate have you seen my marbles?

you think so? elaborate | I mean people are praying a lot more, there have been huge church/synagogue/mosque services since the occurence, the Koran is selling out in record numbers, there is a constant sense of solidarity, not as nation, but as a people. From what I`ve heard we just hit them, not target.
I`m just defensive of my sexuality Rogue, sorry. Work is of two kinds: first, altering the position of matter at or near the earth's surface relatively to other such matter; second, telling other people to do so.

America is not the good guy just because it's starting a war to wipe out terrorism and arrest Osama bin Laden. nobody's doing the right thing either way, so why is America getting praised for it???? | This has never been a good guy bad guy thing. War never is. Look on your screens, see CNN, NBC. See the propaganda. Do you really believe that is Bush himself believed all terrorists were in Afghanistan, he would tell that over and over and over...?
In my opinion, the US are retaliating. That, and they are pursuing a few minor goals:
1: To overthrow the fundamentalist government.
2: To test various new state-of-the-art battle toys (weapons)
3: Dumping lots of bombs that were outdated... Cleaning the armory, so to say..
4: Keeping up the appearance that with each bomb dropped a terrorist dies. IE keeping morals high.
In a way, I still blame the US for bringing this onto themselves. As said before, poverty and ignorance are the breeding grounds for terrorism. Sheep with desires will seek a shephard. And be he good or bad, they will follow.
To prevent terrorism one can go about 2 ways:
1: Kill the shepherds. Without leaders, no organisation, even a terrorist one, can succeed.
2: Quelch the desires of the sheep. Educate them, and raise their spirits. And not by dropping a bit of food, or sending a few kids a cheque. That doesn't work, that only kills the effects, not the causes. We (western people) must stop feeling pity for the poor hungry kids. As harsh as it may sound, every mouth fed, 2 more open. As harsh as it is... Many of those mouths must close forgood, and will, ere some progress is made.
And there is also 3: Kill all sheep. But anyone with a bit of humanity will not resort to that. That is the job of the terrorists.
Anyways... EOF(rant) ... Time has no bearing... ...when the whiteout begins...

i hate these metaphors... and i hate the message that fighting fundamentalism inspires fundamentalism... people arent going to church for good... they are going to church so they dont go to hell... well i say hell is already here, its just a matter of changing it... brave new world and all... ___Nick_the_Rogue___ To view links or images in signatures your post count must be 10 or greater. 6. Turn the most unpopular President in US history into the most popular.
