I can see your point as far as twins go, having lived similar lives, same input from before the day they were born, however I fail to see the relevence using the same argument with a child. The experience a child has had compared to his parents life is dramatically different, especially at a young age. There are very few similarities in life experience between a 5 yo and a 33 yo to constitute such a subtle occurance. If this were so easily explained then you would expect as the child got older they would become even more empathetic with their parents thought process. In my experience the opposite is true. Which brings in the issue of whether a parents life experience is genetically encoded into a child, I suppose?

Hmm now that would be an interesting thing to research...i wouldn't think for a second that the complexities of the human mind can be passed on in full to a child but then at the same time..why not? it's always been said that the idea is unlikely on the grounds that mice with cut off tails don't give birth to tailess mice. Maybe the effects are not so sudden but there may still be an effect..wierdly i have a scar on my lip in the exact place size and shape as my father who put a tooth through it as a child..I was born with it! weird but possibly shear coincidence.
Anyway what i was talking about with friends etc is that you learn hoe ppl think..despit not knowing a lot about them there are still very simple ways to interpolate and work out from the way they act how they are thinking. Obviously if you've known someone a long time you can guess what thier reaction will be to something..even if you've not seen them in that situation before. It makes sence to assume from this that you have a copy, though a very simple one, of thier personality in your head. In some situations you may find yourself slipping into the way they would act or becoming more like them. Hence the appearance of knowing what each other are thinking...you do, but it's a subconsciouse educated guess...you only remember the times you got it spot on.

Okay, if you can dispell the idea of psychic energy for communication, there are too many variables and guess work, what about used in the physical? Totally against the laws of physics people have moved immense objects(cars,machinery,rocks), usually in a situation where there is a loved one at risk. Do you have a theory on that one?

um yes...bullshitology mostly...people are able to enter states of consciousness sometimes when adrenalin caused by panic or fear shuts off thier safety controls...humans like a lot of animals are capable of exerting enough force to break thier own bones..sometimes animals with rabies do this (also humans with rabies...leading to many vampire like myths of evil superhuman man beasts). This has a simailar effect to PCP a drug that stops pain...amongst other things. This allows people to lift things they wouldn't otherwise lift..of course we only hear about the successful cases because ppl who break thier backs trying to save ppl don't make good stories.

As for levitation and telekenesis i've shown a personal interest in this phenomenon for most of my life and so far the most promising cases have all been debunked.. a case of show and i shall believe..i would like to.

i myself believe in mere coincidence; however, strabgely enough, and old friend of mine and i who rarely see each other have the same ordeal, that is if i am thinking about him one week he too is thinking about me and either i or he will call the other........why is this anything special, well i rarely see him or think of him, but if for some reason, such as now that i am thinking of him, i will bet you that he too has either thought of me recently or will.......it always happens like this......now this i take to be mere coincidence, yet there could be subconscious telekenetic communications involved......

But what if there were no coincidences? Coincidence is just a word we've given to the unexplainable, right? I know exactly what you mean though, what of womens intuition, deja vu, knowing who's on the phone when it rings....this stuff happens all the time and we just write it off. Maybe it says more about the human brains processes then we think, The ability to label and categorise the things we don't understand so they are no longer an issue. Coincidence is a pretty big basket.

I think trying to explain the strange occurences in life, pushing the bounderies of our minds defines, to many poeple our goal and existence as a race. But in truth complicated everyday occurences might never be explained because of lack of technology and knowledge, which we may never aquire. Agnostics believe that we will never know if a monotheist god or any gods exist because we are to dumb for a lack of words to prove or disprove it. That might apply to the seemingly subtle coincideces as well as all the unexplainable metaphysical phenomenon that happen everyday, all over the world.
