i think thats a pretty good observation too, ...
I still like the 13th dimensional bubbles bumping into each other theory.

no. i won't say that. you have a pretty good grasp on the possibilities as far as i'm concerned.
as far as the expansion speeding up, some theories suggest that this is due to the gravity fields generated by bodies losing "grip" as those bodies are pushed further apart, reducing the amount of resistance created between two bodies at a compounding rate.. however, these are the same theories suggesting the expansion will still eventually run out of gas.
and i like these theories. they make me feel all warm and fuzzy. but, i'm still the idiot who would ask the scientist "ok, dick-brain, what's outside the accordion?"
then he would kick out my teeth.
I like to "Look outside the accordion".

I love bubbles.

Of your moebius theory... An infinite line until someone shrinks to a super tiny size and starts running on the surface of that figure-8 design. I think if something like that happened, the person would go "poof"! Since I read somewhere in a little fictional story that someone had managed to make one in reality and it seemed to act like a time machine/interdimensional portal... It was funny, but fictional. BUT FUNNIER!
I can't see it as a cycle yet if the whole big bang/crunch theory makes the universe resembles an accordion being played... I rather thought if you put the super string theory in, their "twanging" could be what causes the whole thing to spin. Like it's a cosmic harp being played by a cosmic being, but then that would be like "looking outside the box"...Which any scienist would kick anyone's teeth out if they asked that...
I agree with that theory of the universe eventually reversing itself to shrink into a singularity in a way, but that's calling it a black hole in some ways until the last bit of matter sucks in and then, triggers the event horizon to explode... Hah, imagine that! A black hole exploding! Who ever thunk such a thing? I once thought black holes were spinning wormholes in a sense, anything gets sucked in and squished into its singularity... who knows if anything comes out the other end, if it does have an end? :woo:
I wanna form the next cluster of stars when I die, maybe... Then result in a brilliant supernova, only to become human once more, and die in another lifetime... There's a pretty good cycle.
I love that word! Singularity! Singularity! Singularity!
