There is no such thing as reverse racism. It is just plain racism. Equal rights aren't truly equal anymore either. They are aimed to give extra rights to minorities. Am I against minorites getting a break here and there? Of course not, I myself am a minority. But if you give one person something, everyone should get it.

Eh??? Reverse Racism is a term which means that a Minority is racist against a Majority... Usually it is the other way around..... like reverse discrimination..... which I suffered in Hawaii when I attempted to find a job.... being a white boy there really does not help you at all....

look at the fact that we have the United Negro College Fund.... now there is no way you could tell me that everyone in the US would happily accept a United Caucasian College Fund.... that would get shot out of the water so quickly....

I do not distinguish a person by creed or color... yet I do find it friggen tiring that we white folk today are still suffering for the idiocies of our ancestors.... it was them not us.... and for those Racist white folk.... for every one you can point out to me I can point out a racist african american, mexican, etc.... ad nauseum......

i meant only that hatred is justified, somewhat if it's towards hate. not white people at all. if someone hates you, is it not a lesser evil to hate them back?

i don't think racism is ok in any case. it's talking about a whole race of people here based on ignorant views and assumptions from a select group of people you've encountered. there is nothing rational and fair in that.

on the other hand, pride in a race shouldn't be about hating another one. just because i love my family doesn't mean that i hate yours. why should it be like that with races? i'm not saying that it is, but the argument in this thread implys it somewhat.

i'm not sure about majorities, but a lot of chinese people i know don't like dark skined people. i'm talking about my parents generation. they have no bases for their view apart from their experiences with a handful of rude people. but note that although there are many people with dark skin that have done well by them, they choose not to remember that.

no, there is a difference between racisim that is born out of fear of the unknown factor of anothers culture and the racisim that is born out of people using it as a badge to make themselves more important.

Racism is racism.... it's just the origin and motivation that changes. Being devil's advocate one can see where a minority's stance in racism comes from, one can even understand it. History shows us how cruel and horrid and unforgiving the white skin has been, throughout this world, not just in America. Though to perpetuate hate and intolerance is not the way to solve the problems of this world, yet I believe it's Fear that keeps this alive still today, visibly and sometimes hidden. We hate that which we fear, we fear that which is different to us.

I've seen members of minorities being racist.. and I just hate that.. I mean.. ok.. some might have been victims of racism.. then they just turn around are do the same crime? How does that make any sense? Are they trying to take revenge from anyone who has less or more pigments in their skin?

I've seen educated grown up rich people.. blacks, whites, browns etc... being openly racist.. Its just strange.. and disturbing.. and sad..

btw.. I live in Alabama.. so thats why i've seen some crazy cases..

i try to no longer hate people...i'll pity them for losing my friendship, but not hate, i found it was too powerful a negative emotion to keep around me, besides it's much more fun to be nice to them.... Especially if they have hostility towards me
