I think the main driving forces behind mankind have always been curiosity and greed.

acutally, i think the suicide hotline is a good thing. it serves a an outlet of rationality to overly emotional and perhaps suicidally impulsive people. but if they REALLY feel that it is the END for them, then why stop them?
