I feel programmed into thinking and feeling whatever it is that I may think or feel. I feel as though everything I think I know is a byproduct of some major industry or a belief forced down my throat by the media or some false religion. I don't trust what I think anymore. I don't trust what I feel. I don't believe in who I am. Nothing is ever true. Being raised on television in a broken home.. Attending public educational facilities, where teachers teach in accordance to their pathetic salaries, never questioning it's truancy, and willingly devouring every useless opinion they feed me, thinking it all to be unmistaken fact, and realizing now just how ignorant and incompitant we all are, or could be. Who is to say we think for ourselves? Who is to say we are all unique? We're thrown into this world at a tender age and told how we should act, feel, think, what we should accomplish, what to do and what not to. We're forced into living by everyone else's standards but our own.. Because we don't have a standard of our own to live by...

We think what we were told to think, and we feel how we think we should feel. We are fake.

Afterall I am just a "newbie." And I'm sorry that you lack the ability to comprehend the fact that we all don't think on the same wavelength, that truths are only what one could perceive them to be. And perhaps they are more of emotional substance than actual facts, because no one could see things the exact way another may. for those who are forever controlled, it sucks to be them, but for myself, i feel more original than fake because i shaped myself, granted being fake beforehand was already an existing mold....

and also, i do not think you can justly declare us as fake when despite whether or not we are shaped, we are not shaped a full 100%...for certain things, like our emotions and desires effect us because we let them effects us, if instead these were shaped, then it would not effect us as much for it would not be us that was being effected....

also, despite being fake, that which is our essence is evidently itself, even if it too was shaped in some manner, but nonetheless the essence is that which is itself and exist accordingly so, therefore we are ourselves.....in order to be trully fake, two people would have to have the same essence, and that is impossible because there is two

Very true. Well put. I believe I was having "a moment" when I was writing that, I change my perspective on things almost daily.. Don't mind me.

Interesting perspective and one I would mostly agree on. Are we a product of society? Probably.

Think about how you would have turned out if you had no guidance as a child, no parents to reprimand you. No school, no law. You'd probably turn out a savage as this experiment requires non-envolvement from society.

Obviously you'd find it pretty hard to exist in our society today as you live a life of one rule - yours. You'd not know how to communicate or interact with people. So whilst we are programmed from an early age it does have the benefit of making us 'civilised' and give us the ability to interact with each other. It's the lucky ones who can break free from the programming.

It would be interesting to see how one would develope if taken away from society's influence. Would this person be a savage or would we see a more spiritual side to this person?

I strongly believe in not programming infants. Should we just slap a chip up their ass burn some wires to their brain and set them on their way? I dont think so. If they program the children then where would we be? There wouldnt be anymore like us! well, it is a concept of whether thinking about which is more positive.....individuality, where pain and anguish are extreme cases such as in murder's, assholes, etc......or a leave-it-to-beaver type atmosphere, where everyone connects more on a non-individualist nature, concerning the extreme case of individuality......
