one of your freinds is suicidal, they are however having some difficulty comiting suicide as they are picky about the method. you have easy access to everything they need and they offer you something you would really love if you help them out. what do you do?

this is a scruples question by the way.

refuse to help. If they do it all on their own, its bad, if you help them do it - you are wrong - if you do it for a profit - VERY wrong

what if that friend would be hooked up to life support machines for the rest of his/her life and you just know that he/she dies everyday a lil tormenting death cause of the previous love for life and now cloistered to a bed is unbearable?... or if he/she is merely reduced to a plantlike state?

If that happens to me and there's absolutely no hope for any recovery..feel free to pull the plug.

just donte the reward to charity in their name or something

If a true friend... with a true wish... Then... yes, I would hand him the knife... But never hold it myself...

That would be different sweet, but... this is what living will's are for. Put your wishes on paper while you are able, for tomorrow... may be too late.

death should never be entered into so lightly...I feel any suicide is selfish...they are thinking more of themselves than those around them...they're taking the easy part, what about the people left blaming themselves?

Depends how much pain they were in,if it could be removed or lessened,how close we are and what the reward would be.
Either way I`d beat them up emotionaly about it to give them a idea of how much pain they would cause others.
