science can be used to prove and predict everything. with everything being known, there is nothing left. so thus everything is nothing. the first step was atoms, then molecules, then cells, then life. life is the working of chemicals in the brain... so you are nothing, and the world is nothing. your stuff will eventually rot and die. your pet...dead in a few years. you will be sad till you replace him. oh well. nothing you have now will live longer than maybe a few years after your death. your reputation will rot soon after death. so all things you do and have is nothing.

so let me gather it up. you are nothing, the world is nothing, everything you do is pointless and futile, thus nothing. and your life. it's about 80 years. in comparison to 2000 years, it's a small amount of time. in comparison to 20000 years, it's insignificant. in comparison to 200000 it's nothing. to 65 billion years, it's a blink. you are nothing.



so do what you want.

i think you're confusing balance with nothingness... the absence of being is much different that dipoles that cancel each other out.

The sad thing with Nhialists is they never seem to realise that when they say 'In 200,000 years this will all meen nothing' that the point of this is that they will never get to see when it will mean nothing and it only means something now anyway..and we live in 'now'...do you think Shakespeare cared that people would be bandying his name around or not as he was shagging his missus or having a laugh down the pub? no...he was living then for 'now' and who cares what tomorrow brings..

one of the main tennants of science is that you CAN prove something to be false, that NOTHING is assumed to be completely True.

Correct...even gravity is just a theory...something I'm constantly trying to challenge every day.

assumign that all the laws of scienc are true, even down to how chemicals react to other chemicals, how wind blows leaves around, how planatary gravatational forces effect tide.... knowing all this you can predict everything. it's this little philosiphy called determinism. fun.

well, the real problem with nihilism is that i can't stop hold on to true nihilsim. i have to extend it do exestentialism. (for all of you who do not know what exesentialism is, it's the philosiphy that you are the only thing important in a world of nothing so do what you want.)
