I think that with the state of advances in technology these days we will be seeing practical uses of nanotech within the next 10 years..... we are already using some things that could be considered the beginnings of nanotech.... say for instance the small micro cams being used in medicine.....

plus they are already publically testing chip implants... it wont be too terribly long...

The first nanotech chips have already rolled out of the labs and are currently prepared for massproduction. I'll search the links later, must dine.
