According to a documentary on "The greatest minds ever", Einstein said that:
If you move at the speed of light, light itself will look as though it is moving faster than you.
Basically, that as your speed increases so does the speed of the light itself.
That makes no sense to me...am I the only person perplexed by this?
If the speed of light itself is constant, how can it then be a variable?
It can't, thus it means that was wrong.
Also, does light itself have mass?
And why is it that the rays of the sun are warm, yet they travel through the coldest place imaginable? (\ /)

um, i think physists haven't yet truly discovered whether or not light has mass....that is, i think they're still perplexed as to whether light's "particles" or "waves"......i'm not 100% sure on this though
and yes, it does seem rather perplexing.....but all i can assume is that you would "SEE" it appear faster, because you "SEE".....if you moved at the speed of light, would it not be safe to assume you wouldn't see.....hence, as you still would "SEE" it would appear faster.......if you get my drift I was masturbating

No, I don't get your drift.
When you move as fast as another object it appears to be moving at the same speed as you, not faster than you. (\ /)

Light has mass. Leave a brand new razor out in the night and in the morning it will be dull because photons change charge when they reflect off the moon, causing them to bombard the earth in a different way from daytime. Lotsa crazy shit happens when you approach the speed of light. Time slows down (astronauts age slightly less due to their velocity) and your mass increases.

Time, in terms of chemical and scientific crap, is nothing more than the measuring of when one chemical reaction occurs to the next, or something along those lines.
How would going fast make it therein not occur as it normally would?
And how do they know time slows down..? They don't, since we have no real means by which to measure time while moving at something like the speed of light, nor can we move at the speed of light, since as the velocity increases mass also increases, and thus we need more force behind the object(Such as extra rockets) to move it faster.
And as such the speed of light is considered infinite energy point...although I'm not so certain....I think it's just a heck of a lot. (\ /)

what i was saying, is that if you were to move at the speed of light, how then can you technically see? you're traveling at a rate where sight would seem impossible, because you're traveling at the same speed, if not faster, than what you can see.....i was merely saying, that perhaps einstein was suggesting that as you can still see, it would appear light moves faster
also, does anyone remember that band Iron Butterfly (did that song Inda Gada Da Veda)......anywho, i was watching this documentary about the singer/bassist of the band, and you're gonna love this....
so it turns out this guy was a mathematical genius and worked for the military.....anyway, so they say, this man actually disproved einstein's theory, and proved that one can exceed the speed of light.....upon proving this, a week or so later he disappeared, and a week later, his body was found on the side of a road.....and his theory has been missing since.......kool huh? I was masturbating

funny, since i was always under the impression that time doesn't actually exist, but is rather a conception I was masturbating

and the speed of light...yeah...is there a speed of sight? and what is it if so?

and John Preston...
are you making the Light and You to be.. if a human moved as fast as the speed of light, or at whatever speed? wouldn't that just be sensory perception? or are you differentiating between that and just the actual speed of light and what happens at that level..? people are talking about too many things at once here.. i believe in practicing compassion.

it time is cyclical, where is the missing mass? ___Nick_the_Rogue___ To view links or images in signatures your post count must be 10 or greater. You currently have 0 posts.
