I don't think so, Humans don't follow the same path of evolution as every other life form on the planet (strange isn't it?)

Basically, humans don't have an evolutionary tree, we haven't split into sub species like all other life forms, we are all directly descended from the oldest fossilised remains of humans but.... we don't look like them, humans are getting progressivly taller also our cerebral cortex is getting larger especially the frontal lobes.

I think the main reason that peple say we're not evolving is that it isn't happening fast enough for people to see.

Actualy humans did split into at least one other sub species but evidence suggests that we wiped them out. They were neanderthals contrey to populer beleif we did not decend from them but we did share a commen ancestor. Also i dont believe its possible for a species to stop evolving

I agree. There is always room for changes as long as the enviroment isnt completly static.

I think that there are people whose gene pool is neoteric. They are the ones who never do what they want to do but follow what a group of people are doing even if they don't believe it's right.

Humans HAVE reached the end of their evolution. With the advent of medicine, housing. Clothing and all that other crap we adapt the environment to suit our own needs and wants therefore we no longer need to evolve.

But that is evololution, ok not in the classical sense but evolution none the less.

We`re not exactly terraformering here, we dont have that much control and even then we have to adapt to an easier envionment.

Actually, having read that again I can say that Humans are evolving faster than any other life form on the planet, For exploring somewhere cold, instead of taking generations to evolve longer fur, we created thermally advanced clothes.

We're evolving faster than our environment so to keep things moving on we change our environment along with ourselves.

Not bodily, we are learning. I guess that in itself is a form of evolution. I still think that we do not have taht far to go. We rely on computers to do our work so the mind grows lazy and dull. Physicaly we may have stopped. I think that we have, but mentally we are growing dummer. The computer revolution has made us all idiots
