With evolution the only thing needed would be a very primitive life form being brought by an astroid. Although that sounds a little off. I haven't read much on the origin of life, but The Blind Watchmaker by Dawkins was very good.

i like the alien theory, just because i firmly believ that aliens built the pyramids based on the mathematical figurations of the sphynx and the surrounding pyramids being equal to that face and surrounding mountains on mars.....but if that is how we were created, how were the aliens created?
or....what if something happened, like the big bang, which created mars with life and earth with life, but based on various factors the evolutionary process on mars aged faster? so, when aliens were off flying around exploring space, our world was field with men clubbing their wives and painting with their feces...

well, start with creation at itself.....do you believe in infinity or a beginning? infinity can entail that forever existed beings, but a beginning entails a necessary being.

well if you think about there is no say suggested start of time itself just like it has been here for ever. there are also other galaxies out there how do we know that we are not a subpartcile of one of those planets.

Aliens our creators?--Just maybe....but to me that is just like the God people believe in now a days..some one who created us. Though..i would believe more in the aliens than god...i could explain but i cant think of the right words just yet. It would be quite interesting if Aliens did create us....I liked Men In Black..the ending where the planets were just marbles that the aliens kids played with. It makes you think...

But anyways...there are many scenerios that could explain how we were created...i'd like to hear it from you guys on your point of veiw....

Personally I think that we were created by aliens on the planet Mars, for whatever reason we immigrated to earth at some point, rebuilt our society here and had it destroyed by some means. Thus we have totally forgotten our true origins.

The idea of us immigrating from mars is symbolically depicted in many different cultural mythos, most notably being the Hopi. hmm.....i too agree with the alien theory, but now that i think about, something doesn't make sense.....ok, i do not believe in the idea that aliens immigrated from mars because A) why have we not been able to locate their vessels (or have we, and the governement hid them); speaking in terms of immigration, what about dinosoars? were aliens dino-like beings, which evolved into ignoratn species.....for it is evident that before humans, creatures were not as intelligent.....

i would rather assume that the aliens, being highly intelligent, discovered a way to "plant" life on our planet, (perhaps corresponding to their very own) where we then evolved much like they did, but with different, yet similar species.....such as, perhaps we are a form of what the aliens were, and animals such as a dog is very much like an animal they once had, but the difference is is that perhaps our dogs could be more docile than theirs....

well if you think about it we still have distant realtives of dinosaurs on earth as we speak. so if they created monkeys they created us because there are traces of monkeys during the dinosaur age.
