Well the guy is a very flamboyant homosexual and he likes to talk about it alot, its just annoing.
Talks about his manic-depression or his flamboyant homosexuality? Both would be annoying. I hate when people talk about their mental problems like a badge of honor or something. I knew a girl in highschool- she started out the most materialistic, shallow person you could imagine (she'd watch melrose place and fashionfile every day, and had a TON of fashion magazines). But then she got into radiohead and was desperate to appear deep and disturbed. She would spew nonsense without provocation, she convinced her mom to take her to a psychiatrist and told him a bunch of crap like Thom York was talking to her in her head and she was a purple queen and shit like that. Then she came to us and said the psych thought she might be *gasp* schizophrenic. Thankfully, by the end of highschool no one liked her much.

although I'm not bi-polar-I do take medications for bi-polar disorder. These meds also work for anxiety disorder. I was diagnosed at 14 with anxiety disorder through a wide variety of tests. I was hospitalized until I was 16. now that I'm thirty and have been diagnosed with SEVERAL SEVERE social anxiety/personality disorders and have been on medication for a number of years I am just BARELY starting to get my problem under control. The worst thing for me is not just me bieng crazy but seeing it's affect on wife over the past six years. She's the most understanding, tender woman in the world. But it's the worst feeling in the world to see her scare for me and not bieng able to understand whats going on. Like someone said earlier I feel that big build up over a matter of days as my anxiety gets worse but I feel completely helpless against it. Sometimes I consider myself to crazy to go on-sometimes I'm even proud of it

not everybody is fake who take a certain pride in thier disorder-sometimes I feel proud because I've made it this far-I also tell some people-particularly in a work enviroment-just because I want to prepare them for anything I do, sometimes talking about it seems to curb those feelings.

i was curious about tests like this, what do you think about them...i adore taking the tests and it seems to have become a type of display, but if there is a validity to them, what is the majority of people out there that are psychologically unstable, and does there come a point when a person can live with a moderate psychosis?
This you ask on Darkforum?

Insane is a legal term, not a psycological one. There's nothing wrong with having a mental disorder and it's more prevelant than most want to believe-we are the minority of all minorities.

I saw a pyschiatrist last week. He (the doc) said i was showing signs of at least four different disorders. I have another appointment to probe deeper. I used to think i was a little crazy but in an eccentric sort of sense. But, after being 23 and not being able to get and hold a job, losing all my friends, attacking family members, alcohol abuse, no will power to do anything, and constant thoughts of death and suicide (I made an attempt recently, too), I figured the time had finally come to see someone about it.
The question I'm asking myself is, 'Is it already too late?'
