What do you do when sleeps lost its touch?

I no longer feel rested inside when i wake. I see things that probably dont exist and i hear things that probably arent truly audible. Makes me wonder about the life of a schizophrenic, questioning everything around you, not quite sure whether its completely real or something innane. It just...i dont know...just seems so fruitless. I mean, in all honesty, things have always been this way. But lately, ive been seeing more things. And im not going to go to a psychiatrist, just so they can dope me up and say i have a mental disorder that i know i dont have. I have always wondered if schiz's saw something that we didnt, something of the spiritual nature. I dont know that i ever will know, but my current predicement baffles me.

What is the point of sleep without rest?
What is real if what we see is merely filtered light?
Do we hear waves of sound or could it be potential unspoken from another persons mind?

As for the one before, i told you why i would never go to see a doctor. Dont reply unless you have something worth saying.

Owning something is about the law and documents and money. Owning a person is about what you can trick them into thinking they want to do. Gnosis, freedom and cognition of freedom is really a question: What are you doing because you want to do and what are you doing because your parents, siblings, friends, lovers, the corporations, the commercials, the media has tricked you into thinking you want to do?

In your case, are you sensing these things because they are real or because your brain has tricked itself into illusions.

Perhaps its a bit of both. I always become bitter whenever i question my personal reality, always seems to come back to "whats the point?". Im still going to see these things, hear these things. Speaking my questions never solve them. I beleive im going to start looking into some forms of meditation for some answers. But only time will tell, as it always does.

my advice is to be really sociable. Getting tied up in other peoples' realities will keep you formt he dangers of your own. And while they will be boring... you see things, they WILL be broing... find someone or a group of someone's, or a great subject you're really interested in and devote yourself to that reality.

that can be a symptom not of lack of sleep but lack of REM sleep. your brain needs a decent dose of REM sleep every night because the result of not getting enough is, funnily enough, not feeling rested and experiencing hallucinations both visual and aural. i don't kno0w enough to be able to tell you how to get more of it so i would also say go to a doctor. acupuncture, however, is a great alternative if you don't want to go to your GP with this straight away.

Your mind cannot come to rest because its trying to solve a puzzle that is out of its league. If one were to find the reason for living, they would never accept it as being the truth. Live in this reality for what it is, it is of no concern whether its real or not, whether it's yours or not or whether it has a point or not.

I sleep with no rest either, the waking moment is a continuation of the one before sleeping. Never rested, never invigorated.

i think all of you have something valid...but i couldnt go to the doctor even if i wanted doe, dont have the money. Plus theyd probably just give me some sleeping pill which i wouldnt take.

And z3ro, yea...my mind is pondering alot of shit, and i mean a fucking shitload, but i dont think they are the secrets of life...i see what you mean though.

Im devoting myself to THIS reality, i spent far to long in the one in my head. I will still have my personal views and beliefs but i wont let them make a fool out of me now, and i wouldnt hurt someone based on that...

As for reality, nothing is real. This isn't reality. isn't reality a manmade idea? Wouldn't reality just be what it is without perception? Maybe reality is nonexistance. Could we possibly percieve reality or is it just a silly concept made to drive us insane? If all i see is real that is only what i sense with my 5 senses. Just cause we can't percive it doesn't mean it doesn't exist, and just because we can doesn't mean it does. One things for sure. I am. however i'm not sure if. you are. Native Americans thought that this world was a dream and your dreams are reality. I like to think thats true. but what is truth? No wonder your insane. Never contemplate these things too much cause its just nonsense and it doesn't matter. You are here to experiance. Taste something. isn't it wonderful? every simple thing has its own personal meaning. The microcosm is a macrocosm within a microcosm. let evrything melt away into oblivian until you find yourself coming into consciousness. theres so much more i could say but i think i'll just start a thread of my own now. Exhaution will give way to the deepest sleep. Do something that you enjoy untill you can't stay awake any longer. Then rest.
