come on john..you know it's true...how many great scientists were treated as witches for stating the world was round and not flat...that man could fly and ice be kept for months...who's to say that one day soon science may prove that other aspects of modern magick are indeed a scientific reality? All of this and so much more from the power of thought!

I'm going to try and forgive you for being an idiot in using magick(which is only popular because of the morons who created Wicca), and I already knew how scientists were considered during the years long ago.

i was practicing magick before wicca became a household word...i like nothing about wicca, and find it little more than another organized religion...heck, most modern wiccans don't even know who sybil leek is...silly wanna bes...(not you of course mr. jp)

I don't know who that person is, either. Then again, I haven't wasted my time learning about religions, but rather wasted it playing games

well i'm not wiccan, so i'll take no offense to that comment...She was one of the first witch's to come out of the broom closet i guess you could say...right up there with scott cunningham and ted andrews...when wicca was just becoming mainstream...it's sad that so many don't know what the roots are of their religion...

Wow...that is sad. I looked at some Wicca books because it just isn't right to insult something you know nothing about. It had NOTHING in there about those people, and it was supposedly a comprehensive history of the Wiccan religion.

Very very sad...

But this also helps to prove the point that book smarts don't help, since books are only as good at making you smart as the person who made it. Therefore, no matter how many books you read you still won't be intelligent if the people writing those books are morons.
