well, there is matter without thought.....what about a rock, or a tree, or any such non-thought entity? but, with a side issue, these things that are matter could not be comprehended without thought......so in a sense, no (when considering the philosophical inquiry of thought) things would not exist without thinking.....however, concerning the evolution of things, and matter itself, things can still exist without thought....i mean, after all, existence preceeds thought......

thinking without matter on the other hand is a trickier subject.....for, it may not be as justified to say that without a living body you cannot think, but rather it is justified to say that without something such as the existence matter (even just one entity) you cannot have an experience and hence cannot have thought......

Its not the 0 that doesnt exist its the -1.A negative ion maybe the couter of a postive one but it does count as existance.
They are both one as they both have the same force(I`m guessing) the minus is proved from the two 1`s effect on each other.
