In light (or dark) of this newborn tragedy ive dediced to ask a very debatable question. Thorught history is has been the belief of many powerfull rules and or dictators that the ends will justify the means. This means that the acheived end result, or goal, will justify the means by which the result is achieved. This is why it is very common for supposed religous people to act in a non religous way. For example Bin Laden(thats nots spelt right i know...) claims to be acting in such a way to end what they view as satan. In his religion blowing up two huge towers each containing the numbers of people like a small city is not a tolerated or glorious act. However by him and his followers, it is belived that in destroying this satan (the american nation) that the end result of a suposed liberation would justify each life that died. Not so much the soul for they despise the actaul american person, but the life itself is what they view as needing to be justified. Hitler also had a similiar reasoning, as did many others...
However this to me just seems as an excuse a way of saying things are o k. For me it seems like a detour around facing the problem of going agaisnt what your morals or religion stands for. By saying the ends will justify the means, your simply implanting the idea that what your doing is o k even tho you know its not. Bin ladens people and himself so strongly belive this they will not be convicened otherwise. It is their belief that what they will do now will cause a result, this result will be the justification to their injustices.
So what do you think? Does the end justify the means?

"one does not apreciate bliss until theyve known pain, and one does not know pain until theyve experienced bliss"
your on a very good track here... ponder this... "If the man says to god, 'God the heathens hath taken my soil, hath thaken my wife, can I not be revenged?' God will say 'No, find new soil, find another wife'. If man were to come back and say 'But Lord, they also claim my soul'. And god would say 'But is it theirs to reach? Is is theirs to begin with?'"

Possibly if you can live with it and its the lesser of the two evils. Eg Shooting people is wrong but shooting Hitler before he rose to power? I could live with that.
Work is of two kinds: first, altering the position of matter at or near the earth's surface relatively to other such matter; second, telling other people to do so.

but whose to say that some other event would serve to end the suffering of the future just the same, but without killing the psycho at the top... say hatsh words in a bar or an unexpected trip to america where the person finds they cant get back and must live out their lives there... hmmmmm?

That would be even better but would you be able to figure exactly what to say and when?

and whos to say that the war ultimatly didnt do any good... it sure as hell halted Stalins grand plans for Europe (which the Command and Conquer: Red Alert games were theorised on)

Would you consider Russia or Nazi Germany the deadlier enemy? At the very least Hitler could have been made to realise the protocals were false and Jews were not the enemy.

at the time, yes Hilter was dangerous... but his kinda danger litterally couldnt last long.. either he would lose or we would... Stalin's communism and its evolution after his death was a muhc deadlier enemy in the long run and ultimately claimed more lives and resources on both sides than WW1 or 2...

I want to live in a world of peace
Without conflict, like the one I’ve seen in my dreams.
I just can’t keep it inside
I’ve gotta say what I wanna say
Your face doesn’t show your fighting pose.
