I wonder to myself whilst taking a walk through some woods...

'Do the trees talk in some bizarre way...do they communicate with the world, and other trees? Can all living things communicate with others, even if it is in some silent psychic way. It seems silly...but I though a lot on it. Just because we cannot hear, doesnt mean they dont. Hmmm...I will never know...unless I become a tree in my next life

my theory is creaks and moans... 2 creaks in 2 seconds equals logger... 5 moans in a minute = naked wiccans dancing around me

Can nature understand humans?

Good question. In my opinion Nature is a cycle of endless energy. We are part of it.

I dont think humans are part of the terran nature.. (that means the nature of planet earth.. I used the word terran cuz it sounds cooler)..

All of nature works in harmony with its ecosystems except humans.. no ecosystem harms another ecosystem.. no organism harms its ecosystem and no ecosystem harms its organisms..

Its totally different with humans..

Kinda like putting rabbits in australia where there are no natural predators.. things screw up.. Humans are put on earth.. things screw up.

One guy cut a blade of grass and used equipment to hear a buzzing noise coming from it but most people believe that is the sound of particles escaping from it.
Nature as an entity or energy may talk but I doubt the plantlife itself does.

If you send good feelings or you care for a plant or concentrate on the plant sending it positive energy or whateve.. it will grow healthy over the next few days.. It works with me.. why dont u try it?

Errant: He talks to them...at least he says so. What he does with them afterwards is really not something I'd like to think about...

if tree could talk i wish i could speak with them
but well i think everyone here would like to be able to do that
i think there far smarter as humans they can live without harming anyone or anything
(i believe someone of the dutch royal family once thought she could talk to trees)

Just as a not humans are not the only creatuers who damage the ecosystems they live in. locusts when they swarm desimate any ecosystem in there path

I in no way am saying I am open minded about this subject. Nor do I say I am not open minded. But I have doubts about trees talking to each other. At least in any intelligble way. Like, what do they have to talk with? And what would they have to understand what each other say? Off the top of my head however, I think I can come up with an explination.

1-Cellular level communication. Each cell, or something bigger/smaller is able to give off an effect (Sound, smell, vibration) that is understood by other cells. And each group of cells communes that to the tree.

2-Spiritual level communication. Considering that trees are a life form that doesn't have a brain to get in the way of everything, it is likely that they are more attuned with there own spirits. This certanly would allow an intelligble conversation between each other, and some humans. And might explain some other weird things about plants.

There is very little chance of communicating in a way I could understand. That I do know.

Many people here are talking about the trees talking themselves...what if it's not the voices of the trees, but the woodland beings that live there?...they would be a seperate and conscience entity...many cultures have stories of such creatures...

This planet is beautiful, before human's demolished it,and continues to do so to this day,yet I am also a hypecrit, in saying this, becuase i do appreciate how far man as come, involving technology. Everything nature, has a soul,and communicates. Animals are higher than humans, they were sent here to guide,and be some of our companion's. They don't wreck the wild, but rather adjust to it,and live off of what earth was. Yet we do inslave these animals,and kill them, hunt them,and what we dont understand is that we are killing being's with more power, or intelligece then one of the flesh could ever possess. The same goes for tree's.
