How better? Better as in more beneficial to the personal life? Better as more beneficial to one's ambitions?
I prefer to be loved . Bismarck once said "Fools say they like to learn from their experiences, but I prefer to learn from the experience of others."
"Move that one of your pieces, which is in the worst plight, unless you can satisfy yourself that you can derive immediate advantage by an attack." -Adolph Anderssen To view links or images in signatures your post count must be 10 or greater. Love can in no way be described as an absance of fear. Certainly, you are comfortable, connected, and close with the object(s) of your love. You still, however, have fears. Fears of losing what you have, etcetera. | but is that love then? my single, pat sentence stands...
circ, if i hear ONE more oblique insult outta you... lets just say you dont want to go there... ok? ___Nick_the_Rogue___ To view links or images in signatures your post count must be 10 or greater. You currently have 0 posts.

Yes it is love. But love does not remove all fear. You could be afraid of something harmful happening to the object of your love, etcetera.
Love is, I belive indescribeable (sp?) as it is...to try to put it in one sentence (which, I might add again, is incorrect) is a travesty. Hey, bread is a good time for me...a-woodle-oo-doo, singing bread is a good time for EVERYbody...

Dpending on personal goals, an ambitons it's best to be feared, but I have to admit, for the sake of ones emotional health it's much better to be loved, Love is far more benificail than fear, even if there is the fear of losing that love "You want something to be concerned about??? Well, I have a Knife to my throat. Why you ask?
Well, it's none of your concern..."

Fear of a person can be lost.It is almost as easy to stop being afraid of someone as it is to stop loving them if both emotions come about from a incorrect image of the person in question, which happens often.:/ Work is of two kinds: first, altering the position of matter at or near the earth's surface relatively to other such matter; second, telling other people to do so.

Rogue,
Circ wasn't intending to insult anyone. In all honesty, he didn't insult anyone (accept maybe their pride). He just made clear he had no reason to read your post on logical fallacies and that his opinion of you deciding what it and isn't credible is very low.
Neither fear nor love can be described with simplicity. These aren't rudimentary concepts. We (as a collective) can attempt to reduce them into ideas that our feeble, mortal minds are capable of grasping, and that's the best we can do.
Perhaps when making our votes, we should've included our personal definition of what love and fear are, to better explain our unique positions. As such, Circ will explain his positions on both, taken in the light of what he assumed the original question was cast in:
Fear: to have somebody who deems themselves lower than you; so much lower, in fact, that they are willing to do anything for you in order to gain a nanogram of self-esteem. So consumed with the fear of gaining your disapproval that they are forever lost in their wretched states, with no way out.
Love: not to admire, or to revere, or to be infatuated with a person; but, rather, to simply love them in the purest application of the word. No public charity or personal interest at stake. No pity for their wretched state. Just pure and unadulterated love.

i say fear only because the majority of us are blind to love. its not like love can be easily defined whereas, we all know fear and have experienced it. Quote: Originally posted by DivineSin Hmm...to be loved....true love is loyal.....fear is never.....
Love can conquer everything..even fear.... | true love is to loyality as false love is to fear.
false love can cause fear among other insecurities. but that's just what i believe or have known the way the world works.

| So you never had friends? You hated your family? These are all forms of love. There are just different measures of it. I love my friends like brothers or sisters. Etcetera. Hey, bread is a good time for me...a-woodle-oo-doo, singing bread is a good time for EVERYbody...

ErrantRogue: "do we? i have felt fear, but i cannot say that i have felt love... lust perhaps, but not love..."
thefinalw0rd: "So you never had friends? You hated your family? These are all forms of love."
One unwilling to offer love for love seldom finds themselves capable of receiving it, or even acknowledging it when its manifestation transpires. As such, a heartless person could be the object of love, and still not know what it is. This situation is called being blinded by One's own selfish nature.
