If life were an essay, which kind would you choose? (research, compare/contrast, literary, persuasive)?
What would your title be?
What would your thesis sound like?
Could you get through the paper in one tense?
Could you avoid writing in first person?
Where would your supporting evidence come from?
Who would be in your bibliography?
Would you want to edit your work once it's done?
What kind of mark would you get for structure? Why?
Would your essay be convincing?
...
If (romantic) love was a batch of cupcakes, what ingredients would you use?
How would you feel about eating them?
How would you feel about throwing them out?
How well cooked would they be, (doughy, perfect, burnt)?
What would they be topped with?
Would you be willing to share them with anyone?
How good would they taste?
When they were all gone, would you crave more, or be sick of them?
Would you try to duplicate the batch?
Would you sell the recipe?
...
What analogies can you come up with? Not just for life...maybe for love, friendship, success, spirituality, politics...anything. I'm really interested to see what questions you can come up with too.
If you have answers for any of the questions, feel free to share them... To view links or images in signatures your post count must be 10 or greater.
