She sat in awe, staring at his large hands thrust deeply into the chest and remove the filmy, shifting sort of material. Her eyes grew wide, fascinated by the gasping struggle for life before stopping still, the eyes glazing over. She tried to scream, but couldn't, unsure, amazed at what she was seeing, but her rational mind that still lingered did not want to believe. The dark form sensing the observation turned, the movement was curiousity, but the flowing robes and unseen face with two piercing eyes seemed threatening, but something glimmered. He exhaled a lonely sigh, watching as the pretty girl sat still. He could perceive her desire to run screaming from the room, but knew that was what held her body tense. Fight or flight hadn't decided yet, her head tipped slightly.

He glided forward, her eyes shifted to his feet, she watched unblinking as she realized no feet were shuffling, just a swirling of robes and a supernatural mist enveloping them both. Her eyes drifted back to the hooded figure, a long bony finger raised and moved up to where the mouth should be. She heard a loud "shhhh" fill the room, and then silence. Her heart fluttered and she was finally able to blink. She looked around the room, realizing she was now alone staring at the dead man, a deep red stain hardening clothes to his lifeless body. The room was empty, no life or death now lingered there, she let her eyes fall to her hand, noticing the shine beneath a crusty reddish brown, her hands were sticky and warm.

A bright smile crossed her face, a puppy love gleam began to form in her eyes. She would meet him, again, she was see what was behind that hood. Finally able to control her senses she quickly looked around the room, she closed her eyes savoring the sense of kill, her predator awakening inside. She wiped the knife clean on the dead man's pants, she looked to his body feeling nothing, just a desire to see the dark robed man again. She quietly left the tiny room, the remembered sound of a shush still lingering in her mind.
