*Adriana watches the conflict between Dragon Master and "Marius" from her spot on the ground. She can't believe what she is seeing, powerless to do anything about it. Following Marius' gaze to the roof, she sees Merely's form. Knowing something must be done, she jumps up and runs inside the castle doors, straight to her room. Looking around, she sees where she left it...her sword. She knows she might not be powerful or strong enough to stop this creature, but she has to try. Fastening it to her hip, she rushes back outside and walks toward Marius. The sharp metallic sound of a sword being unsheathed fills the night air...*

*Sees Marius' glance twoards him,* Hi....*he waves.*

*moments later he sees Adriana coming out of the castle brandishing a sword.*

Oh.....that looks fun!

*A box of popcorn appears in his hands. He sits back and gnaws on his salty food, waiting to see the fun that will unfold tonite.*

*steeling her nerves, she walks closer to him. Tapping him on the shoulder with the tip of her sword, she looks him square in the eye and begins to speak in a very forceful tone.*

I don't know WHO or WHAT you are. But...I know you are not Marius. He would not behave in such a manner. I do not want to hurt you, because that would bring harm to the friend whom you inhabit. BUT, I will if I have to, if it will free Marius from your demonic grip.

*with this, her eyes turn from a cold arctic blue to an almost electric color. She prepares herself, drawing the sword back to a striking position. Lowering her head, she keeps her eyes focused on him*

I'm asking you nicely...let...him...go. I know I may not look very strong, but start messing with someone I like, and you'll need more than all the demons in hell to stop me.

Just so you all know...

The rp quality is stunning. I like reading it... but I don't like the fact that I actually got a private message, inviting a whole bunch of people to come and WATCH the death of Dragon Master, because 2 peeps or 1 peep were going to purposely godmode, and kill off his character, simply on the basis of him not leaving the rp thread though having been asked on multiple times. This is a public forum, and anything posted here, is for public scrutination, and for anybody to reply.

There were no disclaimers at the beginning of the thread, saying that this was a closed role play session. Therefore, you suffer the consequences. Dragon Master has just as much rights to post on that thread as anybody else, he is here to role play, as you all are.

Reading through this last page alone, Dragon Master is showing an effort to stick to the storyline, he has expanded his roleplay immensely from when he first joined us. I congratulate his effort.

Going back now, to the private message that I received... obviously, there is some discomfort between the players. I shall make greater effort to monitor the storylines closer. HOWEVER, I do NOT see any need to resort to insults in any situation... doing so does not make the person who sent me that private message look any "better" than Dragon Master... rather it has lowered my respect of him immensely. This isn't the first time I've dealt with this person, in this thread, and one would think that they would know better.

As there have been no further complaints about anything, then feel free to go ahead, and do as you wish with this storyline, but know that due to the nature of this plotted out "killing"... that any damage stated done to Dragon Master's character, has to be acknowledged by him. Else, type all you want, it WILL be void.

In the future, if there is a select group of people, who wish to role play amongst themselves, without the interference of others, then put a disclaimer at the beginning of the thread when you START it... don't let it begin, and let someone role play with you, and acknowledge them, then tell them to leave. That's totally cheap.

As well, if there are going to be posts such as the one by Marius Draven, with graphic scenes of... well, what he did to that young boy up there, in his post with the yellow red and white text... please at the beginning of those kinds of posts, put a note at the top of it, saying that your post may not be suitable for young children to read.

Obviously we cannot stop them from reading it if they want to, but it's a courtesy measure. Not only in regards to respect for the forum, but also self-respect.

*the town was calm, or so it seemed. He approached fast, he was called to great haste. Much needed to be done, and time was ever pressing. Yet as ever, in the end, time would move on, and so would he, regardless...*
*The sounds of the fight were obvious, and he was quickly guided to the battle. A leap, a soft rustle as he landed on a straw roof... The soft noise easily overstemmed by the noise of the fight... He had a good vantage point, to observe. The first glances were... interesting... Instinctively, he kept himself out of harms, and eye's way.*

*Marius turns so he is facing Adriana with his blade lowered in his hand. He smiles demonically.*

As for the demons you speak of...I have one thing to say. I'm the only demon in Hell that really counts.

*With these words, instead of flames dancing across Marius's irises, both of his eyes, entirely, look as if they were the eternal fires of Hell themselves for only a brief moment. Marius once again smiles.*

Please allow me to introduce myself. I'm somewhat of a man of wealth and taste. I've been around a many year, stolen many a man's soul and faith...

Don't fool yourself into believing this is merely a child's story...where the good guys always come out victorius. This is quite real...and will be quite the opposite...and quite painful.

*Marius then raises his blade and swings it and hits Adriana's blade, making sparks fly and the sound of steel clashing with hell echo throughout the dreams of eternity. Her sword flys from her hand and lands upright in the ground, standing erect, vibrating back and forth.*

Your move...

*Adriana watches her sword fly from her hand and land a few feet away. She turns back to her attacker and glares at him.*

*in a melodramatic move, she puts the back of her hand to her forehead*

Oh no! Whatever shall I do? Mr. Badman knocked my sword out of my hand, leaving me defenseless...boo hoo*

*she straightens herself and glares at him, baring her fangs as she speaks to him*

Don't think I'm intimidated by those pitiful excuses for threats. Good may not always win...but I never pretended to be good. I WILL destroy you, you can count on that.

*with those words, she rushes to him and pushes him by the shoulders as hard as she can, knocking him off balance and backward. But, she knows she can do nothing unarmed, so she uses these moments to rush for her sword.*

*Merely hears the melodrama displayed by Adriana.....*
Oh...thats hurt pride....teehee *Merely sees the arrival of Aternus and decides to fly over to him.*

*he lands beside Aternus.* So, whats up......nice show huh??? *Hands him the popcorn box.* Want some????Its kinda nasty though......

Here*hands Aternus the popcorn*....i believe i may need to step in soon. *Merely streches his claws and picks the annoying corn kernal out of his HUGE teeth.*

*aware he is noticed, he turns to the creature approaching... Still hidden from other's view. Annoyed immensely, at the unwary approach, of this creature, he decides to set him straight... Gathering strength, the blood of near 3500 years provides. As he nears to hand him something, he strikes at him, leaping forward, twin fists striking in chest. The blow adequate to knock any humanoid off of their feet (and in the direction of the fight), he leaps away, quickly... Finding shelter in the shades beside the house... From there, again he observes the proceedings... Ensuring he is not found again, from above.*

*Marius regains his balance, and sees Adriana running for her blade. Marius raises his sword and throws it towards Adriana's back. It hits her in her upper shoulder, and knocks her down due to the sheer force of the blow. She hits the ground on her stomach and the sword continues through her tissue and bones and penetrates the ground, trapping her to the ground. Marius walks up slowly as Adriana trys in vain to free herself. Marius walks over and takes her own sword from the ground, taking it in his right hand. He then steps back over to Adriana. He places his left hand upon the handle of his own blade and jerks it up. In a blink of an eye, he stabs her own sword in the same wound, once again fixing her to the ground.*

I do not wish to harm you further since you seem to be a fairly stupid and arrogant creature to go up against the God of Hell...at least not yet.

*Marius then places the tip of his blade against the spinal chord in Adriana's neck.*

I could destroy you right now...I say again. Cease your pathetic excuse for an exsistance. However, I have other matters to attend to as of the moment, so if you would please mind, with what little you have, your own business bitch until it's your fucking turn, I'd be sincerely grateful.

*Marius then turns away from Adriana, and focuses his attention towards Merely.*

*He smiles.*

*Merely astonished by this attack, growls fiercily at the fool who attacked him. Especialy since none was needed.*

Try that again , wherever you are, and you WILL pay. You will pay dearly. *Merely spits on the ground and lets out a small hiss.*

*under his breath,* bastard....

*Adriana clenches her teeth together. She places her palms on the ground and pushes herself up with all her strength. Not uttering a sound, even in the excruciating pain she is in, her own force against the handle of the blade succeeds in freeing her. Slowly, she rises, muttering to herself.*

Dammit...There is no way I can pull that blade out like this...

*She takes the blade that is protruding from her front and snaps it right at the place where it exits her flesh. Then, she is able to pull it out from the back. With blood pouring from her wound, she turns to "Marius." This will be extremely difficult, with only one arm of use to her now. Glaring at his form, she kneels down. In the blink of an eye, she kicks her leg out and sweeps him down, surprising him, knocking him onto his back. Then, she is on top of him. Beating his hand against the ground to loosen his grip on the sword, she grabs it and tosses it aside. Quickly, she has his arms pinned down by her knees, her full weight on them. She grabs the dagger concealed in her boot and points it directly at his Adam's apple.*

I told you, I would not be so easy to defeat. It is my business, that you are destroying the life of a friend. That makes it very much my business. In my book, you are nothing but a FUCKING COWARD. You demon, you have to possess someone to do your work for you. Don't you have the power to do it on your own? Or are you truly as pathetic as I think you are?

*with this, she puts more pressure behind the blade, barely puncturing the skin*

*Marius looks up at Adriana, into her cold eyes. He smiles. Suddenly he quickly raises his head so her knife goes all the way through his neck. He then reaches up with his hand and pulls her arm away and throws her back once again by placing his other hand on her face on shoving her back. He sits upright and rips the knife out of his neck sideways causing a large blood-gushing wound. The blood freely flows down his neck. Then, the blood catches fire as does the wound...in a matter of seconds, it is completely healed. He stands upright to Adriana's amazement.*

Allow me to let you in on a little secret. The only way I will die is if Marius kills himself...which means Marius has control... And, as you can tell, I AM IN CONTROL!!!!

*Marius then throws Adriana's knife at her feet. He crouches and picks up his sword and sheathes it. He then turns and looks once more towards Merely. He then jumps into the air towards Merely.*

*Merely jumps into the air, heading straight for Marius. They clash. The sound of thunder rings from the collision. *

* Marius nails Merely in the chest. Followed by Merely managing to make a quite nice bludgeon to Marius' lower abs. Marius grabs Merelys left arm to restrain it. Merely places his right hand on Marius' shoulder, pulling him down onto the up coming knee. Marius reaches around and clocks Merely in the kidney. *

*Merely screams and growls at the same time. Sounding something like a wild boar having babies, and Merelys favorite four letter "f" word.*


*Merely breaks Marius' death hold on his hand and reaches for Marius' face. Clawing it. The blood pours out, making Marius literally "see red." But the blood is soon followed by flames, and the flames leave the skin completly healed. * Well Fuck! *Before Merely is able to finish the "fuck" he is backhanded and sent rocketing towards the ground. A puff of dust and clumps of earth fill the air.*

* Marius remains airborn for sometime. Smirking to himself while saying,* Well....what a pathetic creature you proved to be.... But as like before....his words are cut short as the fast moving form of Merely uppercuts him. Sending Marius' into a backwards flip, forcing him to collapse to the ground, upon his chest.*

Fuck you...

*Then Marius pushes himself up on one hand, and resting on his elbow. He looks up to Merely. Suddenly he unsheaths his sword, jumping towards Merely and plants it through his midabdoman.*

*Merely jabs his claw into Marius' side. They both fall to the ground. A tangled web of steel, flesh, blood, and evil. *

*now the fool who had found him, had joined the fight. How... Odd. Obviously the being who was now assaulted by two, was more then the being itself. And yet... The attacks were made on the body of that being. He shook his head, slightly. It was... Pointless, in a sense. They could only kill the body, if the being within allowed it. Silently, he wondered why it was not within, what was attacked.*
*The lady he saw, falling. Stricken by the blade... Interesting, the man seemed not to have a need for the blade. Was he so overconfident, that he could do without weapon? The lady rose anew... Wounded, crippled, yet attacking still. Foolish... Yet admirable. She, might have the strength of will to challenge what layed within.*
*He had seen the other... Scorning her attack. He ridiculed her, most likely an attempt to break her confidence. He would fail... Yet she. She needed to be tended to. As the two continued to brawl on, he reached out, silently, towards Adriana. Not with touch, solely with feel... He beckoned her. Allowing his voice to appear in her ears... "Come quickly, milady. A sole whisper, heared to none, for not parting lips, it did...
In the shelter of the shades, he did await the lady...*

Khalani arrives at this town with no more than a rustle of leaves and a whisper from the chill winds that constantly swirl in His presence. Even those sounds drift away into silence, allowing no one to question their origin, or their direction. He is cloaked in His ever-present robes, the thick fabric hiding every trace of His form from prying eyes. He walks free of His usual clinging shadows, enjoying the clear night and the moon that shines down upon Him from above.

He pauses, unaware of His location and uncaring all the same. He is here to discover a new purpose, bored with His usual wanderings, He has come here to interact with the townsfolk, and perhaps to raise a bit of hell. At that thought, His lips slide into a sardonic smirk, pleased with the idea and actually looking forward to it.

He again continues forward, continuing His approach. Having no destination in mind, He merely strides slow and sure, knowing when He has reached where He is needed, there will be no mistake. His strides are confidant and powerful, eating the distance with supernatural ease and grace. He prowls the shadows of this town like a jungle cat at hunt, yet by no means hiding His presence.

He wants them to know He is here, it is that reaction that He craves. He knows the danger, He knows the excitement, and He anticipates it all. The pleasure of the moment is His call, and the truth of it all will soon be shown. He continues His wandering, knowing soon His boredom will end, soon the next experiment will begin...

*Marius grabs Merely's claw with his left hand...which is stabbing into his side. He rips it out and stands up, while still holding Merely's hand. He pulls Merely up by his claw and punches him in his face with his right hand. It knocks him back. Marius pulls Merely up again and assaults his face once again with a powerful blow which knocks him back. He does this several more times, both his knuckles and Merely's face becoming covered in blood. Marius cuts his hand on Merely's fangs in his last punch, but within a second, the fire consumes the wound and it is healed. Merely falls to the ground while Marius is standing above him...flexing his fingers, popping them.*

*Merely, lying on the ground sweeps his leg around and kicks the back of Marius's knee. Marius falls to the ground on his chest. Merely then is crouched and picks Marius up by his shoulders and stands him up and begins to swing him around in a circle. He releases his grip upon Marius. Marius flys through the air, waving his arms as he goes towards the cathedral. He hits the giant stained-glass window, shattering it. He falls for three stories, with glass falling below him and above him. He hits the ground hard, making his body tremble for a moment. Marius lies there for a moment, then sits upright. He looks to his side where there is a large piece of blue glass pertruding from his side, which is now covered in blood. He places his hand on the glass and grips it, pulling it out. The glass sheds the flesh of his palm. He stands up and turns around towards the giant burnt crucifix. He throws the glass at it, making it explode as it hits the center of the cross. His hand and side becomes engulfed with fire and heal...causing for the first time him to flinch from a slight bit of pain.*

Damn Marius....

*He turns and looks at the door. He extends his hand and opens his palm.*

*Merely is looking towards the cathedral. Suddenly, the doors of the cathedral explode out, with a trail of fire following the shards of the exploded door. Merely looks towards the flames. A few moments later...he sees Marius walking through the flames, a dark silohette against the bright, consuming flames.
