1) Moderators are to be respected at all times. If you believe one does something incorrectly, discuss it with them. Insults will result in your posts being split and possibly deleted. The Moderator(s) will take in consideration your opinions. Also, because I am a fan of democracy - if a dispute would arise then we would have the members of the RP board to vote, however please remember that the Moderator(s) word is final.
2)
Concerning the Topic of God and Godly Characters.
- ““Godly”” refers to characters being god-like (like a god).
-
God-Like: Resembling or of the nature of a god or God; Divine (““The American
Heritage College Dictionary, Third Edition)
-
God-Like: Divine, being like a god, attributes of and/or nature of a ““god”” or God
A few examples of a character assuming god-like attributes may be include but is not limited to:
-Excessive ““powers””, specifically
-“Limitless” or “unlimited” attributes. (i.e. unlimited strength...blah blah)
- No characters can be a god of any kind (I.e. ““god of chaos”” ““god of fire”” ““god of demons””...et
cetera) unless it is voted on by the majority. Also, it should be noted that if you wish to pursue a “god” character then please read the story line in the RP board concerning the fate of the Gods - many of them were completely destroyed, please try to create corresponding to the story line.
-
NOTE!!! - If you manage to get a god or god-like character then they must....I repeat MUST have a weakness of some type. There are no perfect characters. An example, Set. Set is an eternally powerful evil, but his “weakness” is the fact tat he cannot take a real physical form on physical worlds, thus making him relatively harmless.
-The conclusion of someone’s being godly will ultimately be decided by the moderator(s). However, the moderator(s) would love to know what the RPers think and, more often than not, the decision will be changed if enough decide against it.
- Use common sense. Be moderate in how you make your character.

A character should never be 'killed' and if they are, it is the moderator(s) responsibility to decide whether or not the character deserved to die, meaning it was actual good role-play or the character all out deserved to be killed. (Of course the exception of this rule is if the character wants to be killed) However, if a character is killed, then it should be the moderator(s) responsibility to resurrect them if they want it so. The moderator(s) decide(s).
4) Your character can be anything you desire.
- This means Mortal, Immortal, Vampire, Human, Lycanthrope, Ghoul, Ghost, Orc, Elf, Angel, Demon, witch, Whatever.
5) Make a description of your character in the OOC sub-forum titled: ““Character Description: ****””
(**** being the name of your character)
Character Desciption Suggestion
See ““Character Description: Marius Draven”” for a good example. There are no rules for your description. However, your fellow RPers can only know what you tell them. You are, however, required to give an explanation of your characters’’ appearance, abilities, weaponry, and history.
Roleplay In Character Guidelines
First and Foremost: NO excessive Godmoders.
Godmoding is necessary in proper portions. (Type-A) However, individuals who excessively godmode give their characters god-like attribute (Type-

That is not compliant.
Godmoding is only restricted to actions. Not words. Someone saying: ““I can easily tear you apart”” doesn’t mean a thing. Basically, one has to understand this concept so much as it being explained. However, I do encourage you to try your hardest not to be obnoxious.
If someone is found to have godmoded unlawfully they will be asked to edit their post immediately. If they do not comply, it will be split and possibly deleted. The moderator(s) have last call.
You can only have ONE main character at a time - one character of whom you use most and is important to the ever developing storyline. Unlike my predecessors I will allow you to use more than one character at a time as long as it is easily noticed as to who is your main character. Also - it should be noted, lesser characters are NOT protected by the “instant kill” rule. In other words, lesser characters can be killed at any given time. Also, if you havea “lesser character” that you do not wish to simply be passed off, then create a “Character Description:_______” post, and attach it to your main character’s Char. Description thread. Lesser characters will a description post will be protected by the “no instant kill” rule.
Lastly, try and use good punctuation and spelling. It really doesn’t have a large toll on the story, but it can upset other RPers, and in some cases of severe lack of grammar destroy the thread in which case the post will be split. If asked, I will edit the post for you.
On a closing note, disobedience and refusal to follow the rules and/or words of moderator(s) on this forum and all others is not tolerated. Action will be taken immediately if it does occur. Warnings and PMs will be issued, and if those are ignored, you're character will be killed. And remember that this forum is like every other: The moderator(s) have final say, but it is also much more of a democracy. Thank you and please ask me any questions you may have and enjoy the Roleplay Forum of Darkforum.com. We're glad to you play with us.
Sincerely,
Set
