Everything is so boring around here... the girl thought. Taking a hit from her beer, she sits in the corner the only things visible from under the hood of her cloak is a swipe of silver. Drumming her fingers annoyedly against the table She hears a male voice behond her...

Shenron steps through the doorway of the bar, the bouncers letting him through without resistance, for there was something disturbing about him, something they couldn't identify, but instinctively knew. He looked human again, dressed in a black sleeveless shirt which gripped his solid but toned frame and black pants both of some unknown material. Normal as he appeared, what lay beneath the exterior was far from normal. His augmented vision was blazing with dim points of light coming from the various other inhabitants, then glancing to a far corner he spotted a woman who radiated a strange energy. Shenron smiled coldy, a vampire, disgusting creatures though useful on occasion. Moving to a stool at the bar he sat and ordered a drink, blue lethe, the bar man just stared at him blankly, so he ordered glass of water instead. As the drink came he passed his hand over it, it was pure, well relatively. It had been seventeen hours since he had killed his dimensional twin and the power it wrought was refreshing though he grew weary, it would be another thirty till he could move on to kill the next, and this body was so limited, by his standards anyway.

Feeling a strong energy she looks up from underneath her hood. Her black eyes looking at the man's face.
He looks cute. Something is odd about him though
Walking over to the stool next to the mysterious young man she catches his gaze easily. Seeing a strange fire in his eyes she recognizes the creature on the spot.
" I'd never thought I see you here...Shenron"
She grins slightly, fangs lenghtening.
"So what's a guy like you doing in a place like this? Trying to get killed?,"resting a hand on her sword, a dark tone enters her voice"Because this is my turf. You have three millseconds to get out."

Shenron's eyes close as smile creeps across his face. Turning his head a little he flicks his gaze to the side, looking the vampire up and down, his gaze lingering on the hand that rests on the blade.

You should know better than to threaten me...

Suddenly his leg flicked to the side taking the stool out from under Kalika, then in a blur of shadow he grabs the cloak and whips it around her throat strangling her as he catches her mid fall in his free hand, pressing the side of her face hard against the bar. Leaning close to her covered ear he whispered.

...because I might get violent.

Gripping the hood her yanks back hard throwing her away from the bar, while his other hand kept tight grip on the tail of the cloak, causing her to spin a couple of times as it unwound. Smiling gleefully he tilts his head to the side, resulting in two loud cracks.

Hitting the wall of the bar, her mind spun for a few seconds before getting up. Feeling her spine re-aligning itself she winces. Rubbing her now bruised neck, she mutters.
"I'm surprised that didn't kill me, then again you were god-awful at snapping necks. Something you're gonna wish were as good as me at in a few seconds."
Dashing towards him she taunts.
"Hope you didn't lose your touch old man, cause it's about to get wicked!"
Unsheathing her sword, she fakes a swipe to his throat, intentionally missing, she connects quickly with a dropkick to his chest, sending him flying. Suddenly the bartender tried to intervene.
"hey you two, take this outside before I-"
"Unless you want to die too bartender, Shut up." Kalika growls, dropping to a more formal fighting postion.

*Ah time for some much needed R&R. The major forces of evil had been set back for awhile, damsels have been saved, and the heroic deeds have been done for Valron. In his opinion its time to sit back and get hammered.*

*Valron slauntered into the bar, moving back and forth chaoticly. He had on headphones and was humming what sounded like a weird mix between a techno song and pop music. He danced to the music playing on his cd player jerkily, legs flailing and fingers snapping. His eyes where closed shut and covered by a pair of yellow tinted thin sunglasses.*

*As he moved a stool flew from the table that Shenron was sitting at and slid across the floor for a head on collision with Valron. Valron seemed to pay no attention and continued humming and dancing. As the stool was about to hit him he spun in his dance and thrashed out his legs, narrowly avoiding the stool. He contined his blind dance towards the bartender. Kalika flew across the room spinning also heading in Valron's way. He kicked out both legs and then spun around twice as she sailed past him and into the bar. He turned and continued dancing towards the bar. He sat down and smiled. Life was good.*

"Milk please." Valron cheerily said to the bartender, still not looking or turning down his music.

*The bartender looked at Valron with the strangest look he had ever given a customer in the many years he had worked here.*

"This guy is either an idiot, or a genius. Hey buddy, did you dodge those things on purpose?" the man asked Valron.

*Valron opened his eyes and saw the guy was talking to him. He turned down his cd player and asked the man to repeat himself.*

"Dodge them on purpose? Dodge what?" Valron asked.

*The man pointed behind him towards the two about to fight as he pushed Valron's milk towards him and was paid for it.*

*Ah, a fight. And a damsel in distress. Why do I feel suddenly like fate has frowned down apon me and decided to pull me into yet another wonderful series of seemingly unrealated events that tie in together in some wonderfully evil way and create a problem that threatens all life? Huh? Why do I feel that? You want to awnser that one for me god? Thought not.... This is some damn good milk..... Valron thought as he watched the fight and absentmindedly rested his hands on his two special guns he carried with him.*

The solid oak bar trembled as Shenron hit it, rolling backward over it as the bartender tried to intervene. Instead of stopping when his feet touched the floor, the rolling continued and became more like back flips, Shenron's hands and feet finding purchase easily. Up the wall behind the bar he continued, like some sick humanoid spider, the roof solid under hisfeet he squatted, upside down on the ceiling for a moment before springing at Kalika, his motion a blur as he gripped Kalika by the shoulders and brought his feet up against her chest, knocking her to the floor. There was a familiar crunch of bone and Shenron paused, rapture on his face as he inhaled deeply and smiled at the joy he felt. It had become quite a scene in the bar, a man of unnatural ability squatted on the chest of an inhumanly strong woman. Staring down at Kalika, Shenron's face became cold and impassive.

I think you will find that this old man's touch has grown somewhat more devastating since our paths last crossed, leech.

For emphasis he dug his thumbs into the slight nook between collar bone and shoulder, an evil sneer spilling across his face.

*Now why did you have to go and do that self, you know shenron recovers twice as fast as you do...*
A loud crack is heard as her neck heals itself. Wincing again and
grimacing slightly, she noticed a heavy weight on her chest, as well as something grabbing her collarbone.
*Shit...*

"Well Shenron, I knew that you always got what you wanted, but groping me isn't going to get you anywhere. Shi'ne"

Suddenly a gigantic sphere of water surrounded Shenron. Lifting him off the ground, Kalika gets up and looks at Shen.

"Lookie, my own personal firefish. Oh yeah, can't handle water can ya big fella" Kalika grins."As for calling me a leech, don't offend me. Daddy wouldn't like that. Wanna know what I'm talking about? Ask around now and days down below for me and you'll find out..."

Turning around, she walks toward the door a young man catches her eye.
"Hey, you. Come here" at the aformentioned sentance, she does the 'come hither' motion, eyes darkening slightly

Shenron stares blankly as the magic manifests around him, he is unconcerned at the water and is bemused as to why Kalika would belive it would hurt him. [i]She must have me confused for some kind of fire elemental, how unfortunate for her.[/color] Passing his hand before his face, Shenron whispers, small air bubbles leaving his mouth.

Ketarum`ceranus

The sphere of water vaporizes into a cloud of blue haze as Shenron alters the magic, the hazy cloud gathering above his right palm.

Satornu'eshk

The blue haze begins to crackle with energy as it changes to a ball of grey haze whose surface undulates with tiny arcs of violet coloured lightning. Turning he raises his hand as Kalika reaches the door, halting to enspell a mortal with her will. Casting his own gaze the side Shenron looks at a strange man wearing a walkman who sits watching the fight, then returns his gaze to Kalika.

Kalika, have you forgotten your manners, you cannot leave yet...

As his words trailed away Shenron turns his hand to Kalika and the crackling globe streaks from his hand with a sickly hum as it moves towards Kalika, each person it passes being raked by arcs of the purple lightning.

...this is only now beginning to get interesting.

"So you're nineteen,eh? A little young to be in a bar huh?"
" Miss look out!"
Pushing her out the way, the young man is straight in the path of the orb of purple lightning.
"Damn."
Dashing at the young man, she yells
"TRAVIA!!"
The purple lightening suddenly stops as she stands dead in front of it. Eyes glowing red, she growls angrily.
"You were right, things are about to get interesting. I never once told you who my father was did I? Well it's about high time you found out."
The blast of purple lightning shoots right back at Shenron who is caught off guard by it sending him once again reeling into the wall.
"You'll get three guesses and then I'll tell you. Of couse, that's saying you'll live past all three. So come on,chop-chop? Who is my father?"

"Oh, and I'll give you a hint. My father could beat your scrawny demon ass without a second's worth of trouble"

Shenron's body flickered and he was sent reeling into the wall, at the same instant the air behind Kalika shimmered and a second Shenron appeared, the true Shenron. Placing his hands on Kalika's shoulders he gripped hard and bent her to the floor.

That was a pretty little spell you used girl, but your prowess is not on the same level as mine. Who your father is is of no concern to me, for you seem to believe I am someone I am not, somehow you are deluded into believing I am a demon.

Shenron's grip relaxed and his hands moved up to cover Kalika's eyes, instantly, visions assailed her.

A wizard standing within a great hall in the heart of an immense mountain, his hands and eyes blazing with power as he battles a great golden dragon standing more than a hundred feet in height. The creature was reared over the wizard, its eyes glowing as it worked spells while drowning the wizard with great gouts of its flaming breath which washed harmlessly off his defences. The wizard twisted his arms in complex patterns and from the ground arose two gleaming diamonds, revolving around the dragon, suddenly the diamonds began to spin and take on sinister aspect as they revolved like buzz saws, a moment later the dragon roared, shaking dust from the roof of the hall as one of the diamonds swooped past and sliced the dragon across the shoulder splitting into two diamonds as it struck. Roaring in rage the dragon redoubled its attack, and a sheet of glacial ice manifested over the wizard, and dropped straight down on him. The wizard gritted his teeth and cast a second spell while maintaining the first, the wizard vanished and appeared to the right of the dragon. The wizard waved his hands and linked his fingers, in response a ball of lightning grew and moved toward the dragon, great arcs of the energy raking the beast, sapping its energy. The dragon's eyes blazed and a glowing field of energy appeared around it, deflecting the diamonds which still punished the beast heavily while it concentrated on dispelling the lightning orb. The wizard smiled and mouthed a word of power and around the barrier grew a wall of ice similar to the dragon's previous magic. The dragon roared from inside the ice while the wizard cast another spell, one far more complex, and powerful. The tiny sparks that made up the remnants of the diamonds paused in their revolution and then continued, this time tiny trails of light coming from them as they revolved but now spun on an axis, forming a web of light around the dragon. Suddenly the wall of ice exploded and the dragon bellowed as it saw the diamonds reaching the climax of the web. In rage it attacked the glowing tendrils of light which formed its new prison, but its every effort was muted by the cage and its own weakness from the battle. The dragon relaxed and narrowed its eyes at the wizard as he approached the bloodied creature whispering words of power, suddenly the dragon began to shimmer with green light and its wounds began to seal as the blood flowed back into the opened flesh. Touching the cage the wizard dispelled it, and the dragon stood to its full height. The wizard and the dragon stared at each other for a long moment, then the dragon dipped its head and the wizard smiled then drew a small ornate wand from his simple black robe and laid it on the ground, the dragon's eyes blazed and similar wand appeared and the wizard picked it up with a smile, then vanished. The dragon's eyes blazed as it used its magic to take the wand the wizard left, instantly a lance of energy erupted from the wand and struck the dragon in the chest, and it disappeared in a cloud of dust, disintegrated by the wand's magic. The wizard appeared again in a large room, which was completely empty except for a ring of light which glowed in the centre of the room and which now encircled the wizard who stood with an evil smile and a deep laugh echoing throughout the room.

Shenron removed is hands from Kalika's eyes and gripped her shoulders again.

I am older and more powerful than you can ever dream, and suggest before you try your luck against me again you at least have the power to defeat the dragon king.

Itaru`pelaron`bedaric.

Shenron laughed and disappeared from the bar, as from the ground two diamonds rose.

*What the hell? My hands...they look blurry...*she thought, backing away from her hands in horror, pressing her back against the wall a idea dawned on her.

*I'm blind...my vision is going. But it can't! *

She shook her head wildly as if to clear the thought but it kept plauging her mind. Black pupils clouding over, her eyes began to water.

*This was done by my own hand...but if I can't see, how will I ever find the key...Dammit, I just had to rush this didn't I....rush,rush,rush, that's all I'm good for... I might as well lay down and die right now....*

Slumping against the wall, she began to slide down, as the tears did along her cheeks. Silently she cried, quiet sobs racking her body as she hit the floor. Shivering even harder her sobs became louder as she covered her eyes,trying to hide her shame.

*Mama... I'm so sorry....*

Outside the bar, upon a rooftop opposite, the air shimmered as Shenron appeared. Moving to the parapet he watched the bar, the girl could be useful. The base of Shenron's skull tingled as he felt a powerful force approaching, demonic and yet holy. He would wait and see what happened.

Within the bar the air seemed to grow light as everything slowed down and felt distant as a wave of distortion washed over Kalika, and a humanoid figure appeared, floating just above the ground. Its flesh was black as the night and it was large, standing over ten feet in height, with long black tendril-like hair flowing from the back of its skull and a long tail trailing behind. Taloned hands were folded across its chest as clawed feet hung in suspension just inches from the ground. In the centre of its chest a dull red light pulsed as palpable shadows coalesced around it. An overwhelming power emanated from the being as it stood watching Kalika, as if Hell itself had come calling, and indeed it had, for it was Lucifer himself who stood over her. Two red ember-like eyes studied her as she cried, a cold emotionless look upon its featureless face. Behind the creature the world was distorted, as if being looked at through water, beyond the distortion things moved normally. Moving steadily it approached the huddled Kalika, and stood over her.

Get to your feet Kalika, you are stronger than this. To think my blood pulses through you and you sit in such a pathetic condition. How could you ever hope to defeat such a wizard as the one you faced when you break down so easily, and even in his reduced state. He was right, you will require greater power if you are ever to compete with one like him, to compete with any of the beings that inhabit the surrounding realms for that matter. I know you have the power, you just have to stop being so weak.

Turning away he flicked her with the tip of his tail, sending her careening into the wall, before floating toward the entrance of the bar.

Get up now, I would have words with this wizard.

As his words faded he disappeared out the door and flew up onto the rooftop that Shenron stood upon.

Shenron's eyes narrowed as the being who claimed to be Lucifer floated out of the bar and stared up at him. The next instant the world around Shenron wavered and he felt his body displaced from the physical world. Shenron, watched as the dark being rose to float in the middle of the street, then floated toward him. Shenron placed his hands behind his back, his fingertips tracing intricate patterns as he weaved a spell shear together, in case he was attacked, it might buy him the neccessary time to escape. He believed the creature would have attacked immediately if it intended to harm him, but he would take the necessary precautions regardless.

Shenron moved back a little from the edge of the roof as Lucifer rose upto its level. He did not like this at all, but he would see how things turned out before escaping.

*Duragon opened the front door to the bar and entered. He was dressed in regualr clothing which covered his supernatural armor, and his face was even well hidden inside the hood of his jacket.
He took a very quick look around ignoring pretty much all the actions which were taking place inside. He had come here for one very specific reason and he would stick to that reason.
After a minute Duragon had spottd the man which he had needed to see, he began to make his way twoards valron.

He reached the bar and took the seat right next to valron on his right side. making sure not to make eye contact with valron Duragon began to speak in a very soft and normal voice*

Well Valron I see you are alive still. I was beging to think you would never reappear in this world. There is much me and you need to talk about at this moment and I hope we can talk for once with out having to try and kill one another

*Valron watched the fight with an amused smile on his face. Seems that some new contenders have decided to show their face in this world. To bad they seemed to have a murderous rage and no thought about people around them. Valron would have to fix that. But first he was content to just sit and observe.*

*Two large diamonds burst through the floor as Shenron left. The girl collasped on the ground and started crying, murmuring something. Patrons in the bar ran out through the door confused and in a panic. The bartender hid behind the bar gripping a gun he held there for emergencies. Lucifer appeared and started saying something to the girl before he kicked her and then left through the door. And in the midst of all of this a man well covered but still known walked into the bar and sat next to Valron, who just watched everything.*

"Well Valron I see you are alive still. I was beginning to think you would never reappear in this world. There is much me and you need to talk about at this moment and I hope we can talk for once with out having to try and kill one another." Duragon spoke quietly to Valron.

"You can't kill me with something as simple as that dear Duragon. But yes I agree there is much we need to talk about. And yes we will and can do it in a peaceful manner. By the way nice disguise, its better not to scare the mortals and others around us any more than those others have. Speaking of which I believe I am going to fix that little problem right away. We can talk in a bit, but first I believe we should inform these new ones that their is a veil and a code of conduct that we all follow and that breaking it is considered a dire insult. Do you agree?" Valron spoke to Duragon.

*Without waiting for a response Valron stood and strode over Kalika who was sprawled against a wall. Valron knelt down and placed his hands over her eyes. He let a little bit of his power flow over his hands and onto her eyes, causing them to be healed. Valron then removed his hand and stood up offering his hand.*

"Miss I dont know your name and I have helped you out of professional courtesy. But you must know that this kind of breech of the veil will not do. Things that are more than just mortal shouldn't and don't expose themselves to the mortal world. It is this law that we have developed that keeps us from having thousands of people hunting after us. And it is this law that keeps us alive. So I would appreciate it if you and your accomplishes wouldn't blatantly break it again."
