Lucifer approached the wizard slowly, stopping just before the rooftop.

So, you are the one who defeated my Kalika, bravo, that is no mean feat. In case you do not already know, I am Lucifer, the Devil and Kalika's father.

Lucifer crossed his arms, covering the pulsing red light in his chest.

I have been watching you for some time now wizard, as you flit between worlds, killing the separate incarnations of yourself. I know also that you took council with the being Set, it is a good thing for you that you did not ally yourself with it, for Set will turn on you and cast you by the wayside as soon as it is in Set's best interest.

Narrowing his eyes, Lucifer stared at Shenron.

What you sought from Set, passage back to your own world, I can aid you in this, but only if you do something for me in return. It is but a small matter, yet significant none the less.

Shenron eyed Lucifer suspiciously, for he desired more than anything to return to Elrond and reclaim lordship, but he never let his emotion control him, especially not in a bargaining situation. He would see what Lucifer wanted in return.

Say I was to accept your generous offer, what would you require in return, and how do I know you will not double cross me yourself.

Lucifer expected such suspicion, and really there was no way to make Shenron trust him.

What I require of you I will tell you of when you have returned, as for trusting me, I can only give my word. Do we have a deal?

Shenron narrowed his eyes, then nodded once.

Yes, but I have conditions of my own. First, that stone in your chest, I sense great power emanating from it, I would have it as collateral, insurance in case you think of betraying me. Second, my part of the bargain I shall fulfill in my own time, there are things I must do first. Agreed?

Shenron stared at Lucifer, he did not like relying on this being for transport to his home world, especially after maiming his daughter, but if this Lucifer agreed to the terms he would have no concerns about trusting him, for he sensed the stone was very poewrful, and worth acquiring, if only for insurance.

Lucifer stared hard a Shenron, who does he think he is trying to counter offer the dark angel, obviously a fool. Moving forward, Lucifer floated eye to eye, only inches from Shenron's face, his penance stare boring into Shenron.

Agreed, but you get the stone only when we reach Elrond.

Lucifer snapped his fingers and the air around them grew light and the world swirled away in a haze of grey nothingness.

Shenron's eyes narrow as Lucifer agree's, he had thought the deal to unfair for the devil to consider, he did not know what this creature had planned, but he realised he was along for the ride as the displacement grew and the world faded. Shenron felt his physical sensation decrease, and desperately he worked a spell to trace where they were headed, in case he ever found himself in the same situation again, he would not require help returning to his home realm.

The door to the bar blew inwards, landing at Duragon's feet and immediately igniting into a tremendous blaze from the pyrokinetic energies of the angel's mind.

The familiar double-thud of his thick boots sounded in the silent air as Hiro stepped into the bar, casting his glowing black-light eyes over the crowd gathered there. Then he saw Valron, and immediately his eyes flashed a brief sense of alliance, of friendliness, for Valron was no enemy of his.

But these other ones...they would simply have to decide on their own. Especially the two new ones to this land.

With a slight rising of his chest the nameless being took in a small amount of the dank air, smelling the scents of all in the bar yet easily able to distinguish them from each other. The sounds of the various creatures' blood pounded in his ears, but he pushed them away. He was hungering, but he didn't need the blood anymore. Not for the last five thousand years.

"You act as if this is your turf. Well, this is my world. I didn't come here looking specifically for a conflict of any sort, but do not, under any circumstance, forget whose domain it is which you tread upon." Hiro stepped down the few front upraisements, landing easily on the floor. From his towering height he looked down on the others in the bar, mortal and immortal alike. His lip rose slightly in the corner in a slight snarl as he saw Duragon, and a slight fire in his eyes warned the demon not to test his patience today. And that would be all the warning this would-be titan would get.

Lucifer, however...Hiro held no malice for this creature. Not yet, anyway. He was neither friend nor foe, but merely existing in the grayness between black and white. Which was insurmountably better than existing in the black.

Immediately he craved to hold his blade, for its security and for its strength, but he didn't need it yet. And he wouldn't need it at all if things went the right way. There was no need for a fight yet. Or at all. But he would defend his world, what he claimed as his territory. He went where he wished, and did what he pleased. "So tell me, are you going to attack me as well as you did your lady friend?" Hiro asked, his knees bending slightly, but his figure not changing otherwise. He simply watched the creature, staring at it, challenging it for this place. It would dare to claim his world as its own? Never would such an insult be tolerated. Either it would back down or fight to defend its place.

Her father's words striking a nerve, her tears end.

Damn human sentimentality...I can live without my vision. I am a vampyre and one of the most powerful beings on the planet and I refuse to let my human blood weaken me any longer. All I have to do is let my true blood take over and...

Suddenly her eyes flash an blazing silver. Her vampire vision begins to adapt to her new handicap. Looking at the angel standing before her she walks over to him. She had heard him talking to the two other men, the phrase 'You act as though this is your turf' recognizing the voice as an old.... close 'friend'

She walked over to the angel.

"Hiro, it's been a while. You cannot greet an old lo-... friend"

Smiling slightly, in a very seductive manner, an eyebrow arching. Spinning in surprise, the angel looks at her, taking a moment to notice her now, silver eyes. Reaching up to caress the side of his face, he pulls away.

"Hiro... what's wrong..."

"Don't touch me." Hiro snarled, not stepping back, but tearing his face to a safe distance from her touch. He glared down into her eyes, his own light-dark appearing as smoked glass filled with burning stars. "Never touch me." Hiro did not avert his eyes from the young beauty before him, but not for a moment did he drop his guard from the others, either. He simply waited. He was more interested in Duragon than any other. He hadn't yet decided what he would do about him, but he had all the time in the world.

*Duragon sat still at the bar, even though hiros sudden entrence had startaled him a little he still did not get up. Duragons mian bussiness was with Valron and valron only he had to repeat that to himself mentaly for a minute to calm himself down and stop himself from speaking to Hiro. He slowly turned his head to Valron making eye contact with him for but a minute and then he looked at Hiro once more and in his own head head asked himself a simple question*

Is getting back into my angel form really worth all that I have to put up with on this mortal realm

Hiro's eyes flashed for a moment at Duragon. With a whim he plucked the thoughts from the very air about him, reading him.

He couldn't suppress a small, cynical grin. Duragon was still the dreaming little boy as always. Oh well. Good to know some things don't change.

In the depths of Duragon's subconscious a prescence whispers words of power, bringing a guarded message to the resurrected fallen.

Brother, our goal is close now, soon I will have a new body for you, one befitting your stature. Things between us shall come to a close soon, but if all follows the scenario, you shall be more than equipped to face the future, and claim your destiny. Good bye brother, if we never meet again, then all has gone to plan. As a final request, I would ask that you keep an eye on Kalika, protect her, as I was unable to protect her cousin, Dante. *Another batch of fucking stupid sentimentality*
Kalika thought to herself as she dropped her hand from Hiro's face, slightly hurt. Thinking little more of it, her voice comes out slightly colder than before.

"I am looking for a man by the name of Duragon, Hiro. Do you know him? If you do not, then I will waste no more of your 'precious' time."

Noticing a man near the corner of the bar stand, she doesn't pay much mind to it.

"Better yet, I need to talk to you in private. I think it's something you may like to hear."

Hiro stood as resolute as before, not moving his eyes from the seemingly young girl. "I see the years haven't brought you any more refinement, and if Duragon is what you're looking for, you need only to turn your head." Hiro responded. He said nothing of her request of an audience, but he looked at her in such a way as to say lead the way.

*Lucifers words rung through Duragons ears like the voices of angels, his work would soon be done and he would have the body he had urned for for countless centuries very soon he would be out of his presnet body the body made by mortal wizards.
But this excitment was quickly shot down after he had heard his sons name siad, he had remembered his sons death and it had brought sorrow to his cold demon heart. After remembering this he had promised to himself to watch over his brothers daughter.

Duragons own thoughts were then inturuped when he heard his name being siad twice. He was about to get up but then stoped himself, he wanted to wiat and see why it was that he was being looked for*

"Come on. I know of a place where we can speak without interruption."

She was walking at a brisk pace , hoping that Hiro would catch up. Waiting for a few seconds, she jumps away of the sides of buildings towards her home.

"HURRY UP HIRO!!"

Hiro didn't need to hurry to catch her. One monent he stood scowling at Duragon, the next the door flew open and slammed against the brick wall outside. A gust blew past the other creatures as he shot past, swifter than even an immortal eye could follow. The next instant he was soaring with the young girl over the rooftops,his head turned to look at her, but his legs moving effortlessly to match her pace. [color=Black]"Why the hurry?"[?COLOR]

*From far away in the frozen south, an icy wind covered the bar. The beautiful night sky above was quickly covered with clouds as an evil force could be felt.....something was on its way, and the power behind it was far from happy.

"Look I just want to talk to you, and I don't want anyone to follow us."

Landing at a slightly lived in tudor style house, she motioned to the door.

" We're here."

Opening the door she leads him to the living room.

"Have you ever heard of the Amulet of Nokomis?"

Hiro shakes his head to a no. "You should know me well enough to understand how little I care about anything that doesn't effect me. So no." Hiro walked through the door and into the T.V. room. He looked about the small place quickly, doing little more than glancing over it. He quickly took note of the quickest available ways of escape, shoudl the need arise. "But I have an inkling you wish to tell me of this relic."

Hiro took little notice of the weather change. Whoopee do...another one of Set's little charades. Nothing big.
