Looking mildly annoyed, she glowered like a child.

" The finals....and I'm not even in it. dammit!! This bites, I'm going home."

Walking towards the exit of the ring,she probably muttered every filthy non-expletetive word she knew, upset, the strongest (and only) female in the tournament and didn't even get a chance to fight.

Marius smiled, knowing the answer before the judges had said it. He walked over to Sano, and placed his hand upon the bleeding's man shoulder, gently, as if the two were of some kin.

Fight well, Sanosuke. I have no doubt you will. However, before I leave, I give you one gift, if you will have it.

Marius slowly moved his hand from Sano's shoulder to his forehead, his palm cool against the bloodied warrior's sweaty forehead.

Marius closed his eyes, and focused on Sano's wounds. A warm current flowed through his hand to Sano's forehead, finding every wound on the man's body and healing it. Small sparks of white light jumped between opened flesh, sealing them. After several seconds, Marius stepped back, taking his hand from Sano.

Do well...

With the last word said, Marius turned his back on Sano and walked out of the arena, blending into the crowd. Within seconds, Marius was gone from sight or sense, vanishing once more into a memory... For the time anyhow...

*Sanosuke stood there in a moment of awe as he realized what had just gone on. Not only was he in the finals but it seemed as though he had made a new friend, not to mention his wounds were all closed up, leaving only stians of dry and harding blood on his skin.

As Marius walked away Sanosuke got his mind back in place consintrating on the fight at hand. All that was needed now was for the match to actualy start and then all the fighters in the ring would begin to beat the living shit out of each other, that was untill a victor was decided*

Overhead...the announcer's voice rang..Fighters, begin when ready!

It seemed time passed slowly; so slow in fact, that it was crawling like a wounded animal. Hiro's eyes danced over the other fighters: Sano, Eden, Vorach(?), Valron...Eden would not attack him. For one, Eden knew he would lose, and second he was Hiro's fledgling. Eiher way, Valron was the major threat, although Sano had an amazing amount of..well...pure and raw determination. Either way, Eden would fight Sano, so that left Vorach, Valron, and Him...

*Hiro was right, Sano had really no intention of fighting any of the others in the ring his main target so to speak was indeed Eden. As he stood there in the ring though several thougts ran through his head mainly dealing with Hiro Valron and Vorach, he had seen them fight in the previous rounds each one of them were very strong and very skillful but how strong were they really how much had they been holding back before.

He felt pretty confident that he might be able to match any one of the fighters in the ring strength wise, but even if he could he knew he was outskilled but the others he could sense that much atleast. His mind finaly came back into focus as he looked at Eden all the other thoughts left his mind and only one remained and that was fighting eden.

He would wait for exactly the moment that one of the others would make there move then he would make his own*
