| Char. Desrip:Her Servant -
02-11-03
Name: Unknown. Often referred to as "the lesser fate" or "her slave."
Height: 5'9"
Weight: Much lighter than he looks.
Build: Mildly toned light figure.
Eyes: A vague blue/green/brown.
Hair: Naturally brown but becomes white when wanted, which is quite frequently.
Other Features: A pentagram-like figure inlayed in black pewter on the back of each hand and a tatoo of no cultural origin which means "Fated" and is understood at first sight.
Oufit: Usually flowing white and grey robes. These seem to float around his figure and often defy gravity or momentum to provide better motion. He also has a suit which he wears for good impressions. It comprises a white shirt with light plate armour over it, a pair of black trousers with greaves, and a black coat with bracers made-in. He also often wears a pair of black learther gloves which are cur to show the pewter sybols on his hands.
Weapons: He never carries visible weapons with him and does not risk concealing them in his outfit, but he does often use them when they are needed. It has been assumed that they simply appear although this is not strictly true. He does carry a soul-blade, which is bonded to the metal in his hands, but this can only be seen by, and effect, mythical creatures.
Abilities: Aside from his sheer good luck, Her Servant has gained several powers throughout his journeys. He is best known for his use of Shinto Priest spells to control spirits and lesser daemons but after successive encounters with vampires and were-wolves he has gained a little of their preternatural strength, speed and grace. His telepathic abilities are slowly growing as well, with Her guidance.
Background: Fate controls the world far more than any god could, but she gets bored easily. She can control minor events, cause natural disasters and other such things but the lives of men are more complicated, and cannot be changed by the movement of inanimate forces. That is why she has chosen the Fated. He openly admits to being mortal, and quite boring in fact. His life was an insignificant blank until She started his duties. All his life, She has whispered to him, driving him towards the role she had created for him. He sees her as a Lover and a Mother who watche over him and he repays her favour with servience. For over a hundred years now he has travelled the world, changing events so that they follow fates design, and he has forgotten his past to the point where he is almost inhuman in his demeanor. He is a servant and serve he does. I've changed this, for I no longer agree with what it said.
Our fate is not preordained. We make our own choices and our own mistakes.
Existance cannot be proven since it is, in itself, the proof of all other things. Existance, however, does not need proving. We should enjoy all we experience, proven or not.
Servant of Nobody. Master of my own life.
The devil with a broken mind. |
