silverflame whipped around, aware of a sound that no one else seemed to have noticed.

WATCH OUT!!!!!!! she cried out as the knight lifted his large, heavy sword to take a swing at the group.

they dodged the first blow and scrambled into a small crevice which lay in dust, forgotten, behind where the knight had previously stood on his pedastal. silver's foot caught on a small knob sticking inconspicuously out of the floor, opening a small passage behind them. without a word, they hurried into the secret doorway before the knight could swing another blow at them with that heavy stone sword of his.

seeing that she could stand upright once through the door, silverflame looked around at her surroundings in awe.

what is this place? did either of you know that it existed? she asked Lost and Vorach, not able to tear her eyes away from the old majestic beauty of the forgotten room. she clutched her books of shadows tightly to her chest.

[color=sky blue]The book you are holding, it is not what it seems, a simple text it may appear, but it certainly is not. Read it but be aware that it reads you at the same time.[/color]

Silverflame screams and dives away as the Knight advances. Tripping a secret switch accidently Silverflame opens the door to a hidden chamber. Rushing forward, Vorach ushers Lost and silverflame into the small recessed chamber then turns to the entrance and looks back.

[color=sky blue]Stay here.[/color]

Leaving the chamber He walks out in front of the Knight, directly underneath the raised blade. The Knight looks at him, but doe not attack.

[color=sky blue]No, stop, stand down Dracone. I know you mean well, but they need it.[/color]

The Knight draws back a little further.

[color=sky blue]Do not be a fool Dracone, you know what happened the last time. He will be freed and I will not release you from him, not again.[/color]

The Knight's body starts to change, like snakes coiling beneath the ivory surface of its body, the Knight looks at its arms, then slowly lowers the sword.

::Isis has just returned from an unplanned jpurney...to find a trio of her guests in the dungeon library...She was not sure herself why the creator chose to place a library in the dungeon but left it to itself...and apparently a few of her guests have come accross it...quickly from the entry hall Isis drops herself down the next four floors ....::

I see you have found the dungeon library....ahhh hello Vorach...please next time you wish to place a threatening piece of art wihin my castle notify me... and i'm assuming the two you of you are wondering why you are here...
Well...here's the thing...you'll never find out...i was drawn to this castle only 4 days after its rising...it was left abbandoned...and completely furnished as it is...and yet still i have not a clue as to why it is here...
when i arrived i was a 18 yr olf girl with a tremendous amount of curiosity and soon as i set foot through the castle doors i was met wiith my sire...during my change he was slayed leaving me to learn the ways of the archangel on my own...and something in this castle has help me along the way...but please if you do dicover its secrect let me know right away....

::Isis turns and proceeds down the hall of the newly discovered chamber...her curiousity has never failed.::

Vorach turns and bows then glances back to Dracone and shakes His head as the Knight turns its sword toward Isis.

[color=sky blue]Welcome home my lady. This creature is not my doing, it has been here for some time, in one form or another. It protects the way to a relic which should never be touched ever again. The book Lost was reading, happens to be a guide to finding the relic I spoke of, the Necronomicon, a book which resides in the castle, or more accurately, the castle resides within the book.[/color]

Lost looked out at the group now, wondering what Silverflame's Book of Shadows had to do with finding this book. He remembered the name Necronomicon but not what it was. There was a lingering in the back of his mind, like someone had removed the knowledge he had of it but not the fact that he knew it.

"Well that was a blast. But explain what you mean by some book. I have read all the books in this libary but yet i have not found any thing called the Necronomicon. Nor do i see how the knight would now be triggered. It stood there the whole time i was in here last. And what does Silverflame's book of shadows have to do with this all? I'm very confused. I love it. This has been quiet a fun treasure hunt so far."Lost smiled and looked at Vorach as wanting an answer.

Vorach stared back at Lost, seeing the lines of probability around him, the chance was slim, but it was there.

[color=sky blue]Some of the books here hide a secret, it is not apparent to you for the magic involved is subtle and follows no easily identifiable pattern, be it order or chaos. It slithers into the depths of your mind like dust in an abandoned room, it began the moment you picked up the first book, and has built through them all. Slow and progressive, taking its time until it has sufficient hold to seize the rest of you,a nd bend you to its will. The magic lies in the way they are written, and unless you know what you are looking for you'll not find it. Dracone is linked to each of the offending texts, he knew you had read them through, when you picked up one of them for a second time and started reading through it a second time in less than a century he awoke.[/color]

Vorach picked up one of the books, and flipped through the pages in a blur, holding the book up for all to see pausing on a page with a blotch of ink in the centre amongst the sentences, absently he points to the blot. Placing the book down He picks up another and flips through it finding a similar page and a similar blot of ink.

[color=sky blue]I would guess you didn't even notice them the first time, the magic of the words blinding you to it. Dracone, if you will.[/color] Vorach says gesturing to the Knight. The Knight narrows its glowing eyes at him then raises it's sword, touching the tip to the blot, causing letters to swirl out of it across the page to join with the other words, creating new words, although in a different language.

He sits down at a table and watches the on going..... he flicks his fingers and a magical black cloud appears he gets onto then it floats up high to where he can see everything going on.

gasps as the letters begin to change.what does it mean??? is it some sort of riddle?and what part does my book play in this scheme of things?

Lost sat down in the air and wondered about it. "You've answered one of my questions, but what about the rest. What is the Necronomicon? What is Silverflames Book of Shadows have to do with this? Why can't they just make pre toasted bread? Blasted toasters never work for me." Lost still looked at Vorach, trying to find the information in his head with out haveing to be told.

Vorach stared at Lost, then glanced up for a moment to see a strange being sitting upon a cloud, before turning His gaze back to Lost.

[color=sky blue]The Necronomicon, also known as the Book of Infernal Darkness and the Grand Grimoire, is a guide to controlling the forces at work in the multiverse, it is not necessarily evil, but the knowledge contained within is most readily applied to fulfilling such desires. The book has many chapters, but they have been separated, the Book of Shadows happens to be one of them. Within are the secrets of the earth and the natural living forces that abound it, often called witchcraft or voodoo, powers of probability and faith, curses, disease and sickness. Powers not readily noticed, but they are powerful and work invisibly, like shadows they are an intangible reflection of a tangible force. The remaining chapters are here within the castle, for the book, although long separated, seeks to become one again.[/color]

Lost looked up at the clouded man.

"Hello. People should really make themselves known when entering a room. No need to eves drop. We don't mind extras." Lost flipped over and looked back to Vorach. "So technically i have read this book, but only when we assemble it will it be the Necronomicom. Humm." Lost sat for a moment and pondered. Suddenly random books from all over the libary began to rip out of their book shelves and fly towards the group. They sat hovering around them, each book a good ten feet from the others. "I think these are it."

there must be some connection to our being here and this book! silver shouted over the fluttering of books and the whipping around of her hair.

she looked down at her own book. suddenly, it seemed to have a mind of its own, glowing and beginning to levitate like the other books. silverflame always knew that her book was incredibly powerful, however, she hadn't realized the full extent of its power.

I still do not understand...aren't all Books of Shawdows unique? How would this Necro....whatever you call it know which Book of Shadows were her's...I mean my own BOS has been resting in this castle for more than 5 centuries and not once has anything like this happened.

::Isis turns to the man who hovers on a dark cloud and smiles::

maybe the book somehow ties into my being a halfling...i'm not completely sure, it still soesn't make a lot of sense to me. i wish my mother could have explained all of this to me. but she is no longer with us, and this fact i must accept. its all just so frustrating! a single tear rolls down silver's face.

Lost motions to tear to him and it floats of of her face, hanging in the air. Suddenly it snaps into a flower. It too hovers in the air. He looks back at the group now and wonders some more. "So what would happen if i say...... put all the books together? Would we all die? Would the universe explode? Would i finally get my pre toasted bread? Ah fuck." Suddenly all the books slam together as Lost losses control. He falls from his air seat and makes a large thud on the ground. He looks up at the books, now all one and hanging in the air.

He looks around. 'Well we're still hear, the world's still here." Lost reaches in his pocket, He forces his power out to stop the repetetion blink. He pulls out a piece of bread. "Damn, no toast. So what now?"

a strange light begins to emanate from the newly formed book. a whirlwind cloud begins to form out of nowhere and sucks the group toward what appears to be a black hole.

we're being sucked into the past! silver shouted over the roar of the wind as she felt herself being lifted and slowly dragged to the time-warped hole.


maybe we'll travel back in time to find out why we're really here! maybe this has been our true destiny all along! the group is dragged through the gaping mouth of darkness and silver catches a glimpse of the other guests also being sucked into the hole.

then all goes black.

Lost woke up quickly from the coma and found himself in the libary still. All of hir parts were on him, all of his mind was around. He tried to lift a book and he could. The Necromonicon was still there, lying on the ground and thus was easily lifted. Gaining a sense of everything, he quickly slid over to silverflame. He caressed her cheek until she awoke.

"Well that was some fun hun."

::Isis wakes to Lost's voice...even though he was not speaking to her. She sits up and leans on her left arm...::

wow that was quiet an adventure...

::she looks around looking for the other man that was here with her...oh my she could not remember his name::
