Malkil's face laughed, as a third portal appeared in the floor, directly infront of the giant face. Form this one rose a slim skeletal figure, a man, a lich. The creature glared at the vampires, then turned to glare at the face fo Malkil.
Destroy them,a nd you shall be fairly rewarded, fail and you shall know suffering beyond anything, not even death cannot save you from me.
The lich hissed angrily, it hated being a servant to Malkil, but it had no choice, serve and live, serve or die! The great face of Malkil began to regress into the wall as the black tentacles that rooteed t into the walls tore loose, binding the lich and pulling it backward, deep into the wall to replace Malkil's countenance. The creature hissed as the shadowy appendages oozed over it, covering its bony form, filling it, crafting a new body, the lich hissed in awe as its power began to grow as it became part of the castle itself. Finally the lich descended, a skeleton still, though it was covered by a layer of oozing shadow that slithered over it's bones.
A thick tendril of the oozing shadow extended from the lich's back, rooting it to the wall, and symbolizing its new bond with the castle itself. From the thing's back dozens of thinner but longer tendrils extended, appearing like a web of shadow. An echoic hiss resonated through the chamber as the lich's eyes flared glaring at Vorach. Then the room went black, darkened magically, even vampiric vision could not penetrate it.
I am Olrox, former high wizard of Sindarin, I will be your end.
The darkness faded and Olrox appeared, hovering high over the group, the room had become much larger, easily two hundred feet sqare with the ceiling at least one hundred feet up. Random obstacles now littered the room, as pillars rose and fell chaotically, the walls also moving, drawing closer then moving outward. The position of the Lifestone had changed also, the stone shifting to high up upon a wall as it appeared move of its own volition. The tendrils that extended from Olrox's back fanned out like a gigantic peacock tail, whipping the air as they coiled about.
Olrox folded his arms before him as his eyes began to glow green, then unfolding them swiftly two blades of force swept outward, heading for Her Servant, while Black Slayers continued to fill the now much larger room.
Welcome to your doom.
Olrox hissed a sa similar smile to that of Malkil's crept across the creature's skeletal face.

Arnoth winces as the blades hit him, arcs of blood fanning from his back as they pass through him, shearing his robe. He cries out as he grips his left ribs where they have cut deepest. Blood flows quickly from the wound causing a terrible distraction for the three vampires. He struggles to keep the gate open.
You must defeat it without me. I cannot attack and hold this portal simultaneously.

Vorach saw the interplay of lines of power as the room shifted in response to Olrox's madness. In a blink he was beside Her Servant offering him aid. Seeing the lines of power tracing from the physical Lifestone into the portal he manipulated the fabric of the rift as tendrils of golden light snaked form his finger tips into the rift edges, changing it from an artificial doorway between realms to a natural one, a temporal and dimensional wormhole in the fabric of reality.
You are the only one who can do this, the portal will hold, you must unlock the stone, it is a puzzle, but piece by piece it can be undone, free the trapped life of your ancestors.
He turned his gaze to the ceiling of the room as if looking at Olrox, but there was something more he almost seeme dto be gazing beyond.
Quickly, time is growing short, you must do it now.

DeAnna stared frozen to the spot, her fear now taking over her strength to fight, she looked around hoping to find a spot to hide, she new she had to hide or fight and seeing all these creatures now she knows that she has the strength or the will power to over come all that is happening now.

Yes Vorach. I understand. I'm getting the memory back as I go it seems.
Arnoth reaches into one of the folds of his robe and pulls out a folded paper-doll with a single symbol drawn on it. He quickly speaks a word and crushes the figure in his hand. As he relaxes his palm the paper-doll reforms and then disperses into dust. As it does Arnoth's wounds heal like torn paper melding back togeather. He rises from his crouch and stands for a second as he flexes his muscles. His robe shifts and changes, becoming a black full length coat and revealing ornate armour beneath. His body seems to grow slightly as he steps towards the stone, seeming less slender and weak.
And it seems memory is not the only thing that returns to me.

DeAnna was still stood there frozen to the spot, her eyes darting all over the room, not knowing what she was to do next, should she help Her Servant, she digd not know, should she fight for her undead life, or should she flee the depths of this place and return to the mansion where her kitten is left alone.
Confused was DeAnna she was so confused.
