Beast looks pretty cool but I never liked the actor playing Angel, to me he doesn't look the part.

interesting... im surprised they didn't go with the revised cat-like beast design... traditional take is interesting, though he looks a bit more foppish than im used too... hopefully grammer's usually sparkling delivery will win over.

hmm... i'll be more interested in looking out for the other characters, like in x2.

i liked the previous films, been a fan of xmen since was a lil boy, watchin the cartoons and readin the comics. i hope the third installment lives up.

the trailer looks good, more of a war between the brotherhood and the xmen and men. i wonder if there's sentinels? *hopes, but believes hopes are too high*

i see phoenix is in it. good. i knew she would be. beast looks good, but i preferred the old cartoon one, more hair, slightly more curved spine and doesn't stand all the way upright. i think that looks better.

i just want them to make a film with apocalypse in.

Trailer looks good but Self hopes stay low as Self has been somewhat dissapointed by the last two movies as they could have done SOOOO Much more with the franchize . What only 3 movies because we cram 30 years worth of plots into 3 movies ..sad !

its a problem you have to deal with when everything depends on the backstory of previous arcs to introduce new ones (ie, how they react, their motivations, etc.).

because, honestly, you can't just do one adventure arc without knowing the the chars well enough...

thing about it... when X-men first came out, with no real history to the chars, it was just a stock comic... full of cheesy silver age monologging and fist-is-mightier solutions. it took many years and many writers to build the continuity (then break the continuity, then build it again, but in alternate universes that sometimes communicate their continuity to ret-con each other).

as excited as i am, i'm still a bit pissed that, once again, no gambit. promised every time, then nothing. i want my remy.

i agree, but i've accepted the fact that those comic heroes i enjoy the most, will probably never end up with a movie...

maybe if they didn't promise him in the beginning of every production, hell, there was even a picture of the potential actor this time. they usually wait till half way through filming to say, "oh yeah, we changed our minds, he's not gonna be in this one."

but the true smack in the face was they replaced him with angel. ANGEL! who cares about angel!?! the only way we'll see him now is if they make a 4th movie and follow through with iceman kissing shadowcat. i think that was her anyway.

my husband hasn't been impressed with them since he saw the route they're going with the phoenix...he's old school comics.

i wish they had gambit. oh well, i just see the films as new takes on old stories really but stories in their own rights.
