If your a fan of the X-men movie franchise you've probably heard that Halle Berry is no longer going to be playing the role of Storm. Does anybody give a shit about this? She's butchered Catwoman and she's openly said that she thinks she's too good for comic book movies-screw her. The role should be given over to someone with a little bit more attitude and someone who has a little more fun with the role. Anybody have any ideas who should take over? any other X-men roles?

She said she was too good for comic book movies? But she also said she wouldn't mind doing a Catwoman 2. I doubt there would be one .. but you never know what goes on in Hollywood.

Halle Berry playing the part of Storm was a joke...and the only thing I really didn't like about the movies. Storm was a strong character... a warrior and a goddess. Berry just didn't cut it....Nona Gaye would fit the role (Zee in the Matrix movies)....or Jada Pinkett maybe. Both have the attitude, and depth that Berry lacks...

Q. Did anyone else notice that throughout the first film she tried really hard to have an African accent, then when X2 came out it was gone completly?
Fuck her. She sucked as Storm, glad to see her go.

As has been stated, Hank 'The Beast' McCoy was in X2 briefly, but the guy that they picked to play the small role looked to be about 5'10 180 lbs.... I find a problem here due to the fact that The Beast was named so due to his beastly apperence, and not just after the blue fur incident. He was an unusualy HUGE man from the get go.

Despite this I would still like very much to see his character in full X-Men form in the next instalment.

As far as what other characters that I would like to see...

Gambit - Simply put he is my favorite character from the comics.
They had a very brief nod to his character in X2, when Mystique was searching the computer terminal for 'Eric Langcaster' (Magneto) she scrolled past the name 'Remie LeBeu', Gambit's real name... And I REALLY want to see him in the next instalment.

Angel - Does nobody else give a shit about Angel??? Come On! Along with Beast he was one of the original X-Men and they haven't even made any effert to reference that.

well from a female angle...he's a sexy, french accented cajun thief...mysterious, romantic and a little dangerous...and come on, what girl wouldn't go weak in the knees being called chere?

i myself happily purchased his line that came out...but alas, like most of my comic book heroes, their private series never go far...

at least they've come up with ways to make the movies appeal to women...most comic books are so male based.

From the male angle I think I hate him for the same reasons-that and his costume-c'mon who designed that?

Jubilee has made two cameos already,and i think its time to make the character stand out a little more. WE NEED HALLE BARRY to come back for storm on x3!!! It would just make the entire franchise look like a joke,if another actress appears as storm.It would kill the fantasy,big time.Im not going to like it,if theres no barry in x3.Other than that,everything looks like its going through fine.Other than the fact that beast was one of the original X-Men,but I dont think theyre following the original comics.Also james Marsters is a great cyclops,and if they get rid of him for x3,the third installment for x-men will be the crappiest.

I have X2 on DVD. I must be retarded or something. Because I didn't see Jubilee or Beast in the movie. I did assume that the girl that walked through walls was Kitty Pride. But someone tell me where the fuck Beast and Jubilee were.

Granted I watched the movie stoned.

Oh. And I love Anna Paquin to death. But Rogue is such a pussy in the movies. She better get way more hardcore in the third one.

Jubilee is one of the students that is captured. I believe that they even say her name when Storm and Nightcrawler are rescuing the kids from their underground cell. She was also in the first movie in the class room that Wolvertine barges in on. You can pick her out easily due to her outfit.

Beast or Hank McCoy rather, is on the news program on the televison in the bar where Mystique seduces the security gaurd.

Kitty Pryde is in both of the fils as well. She runs through a door at the end of the class that Wolverine barges into in X-Men. And she phases through her bed to avoid getting shot in X2 during the invasion of the school.

The original line-up of the X-Men was Marvel Girl, Cyclops, Angel, Iceman, and a very non-blue furred Beast. Beast did not have blue fur till much later on. Though he was a big guy- very big. Who cares about Halle Berry. Get someone who can add a good amount of flavor to Storm. Someone with good acting abilities which Halle has proven time and time again she lacks in spades.
